The hotel

A laid back adults-only resort, the Radisson Blu Poste Lafayette Resort & Spa is in a beautiful location, overlooking a wonderful stretch of sandy beach. Where is it

In Poste Lafayette, on the north-eastern coast of Mauritius, overlooking a fabulous white sand beach and unspoilt turquoise lagoon. The hotel is just 10 minutes from Bras D’Eau National Park, 10 minutes from sister hotel Radisson Blu Azuri and 25 minutes drive from Grand Bay. Transfer time from Mauritius International Airport: Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. Please note that if taking a seat in coach this may be longer depending on how many hotel stops are en route.

100 rooms. All with air conditioning, TV, complimentary WiFi, docking station, hairdryer, mini-bar* (included and daily replenished if booking All inclusive), safe, tea/coffee-making facilities, Nespresso machine* and shower room. Superior Rooms have 1 king-size bed, sleeping 2 adults.

All Inclusive option: includes buffet breakfast at Nautilus Restaurant. Buffet lunch at Nautilus Restaurant or à la carte (selected items) at Aqua Beach Restaurant. Buffet dinner at Nautilus Restaurant or à la carte (selected items) at Aqua Beach Restaurant or à la carte (with credit) at The Deck. Sandwiches from noon to 5.00pm. Afternoon tea. A selection of wines and drinks during lunch and dinner and a selection of drinks at Aqua Bar until 11.00pm, including imported brands. Pool and beach service* (selected items). Mini-bar (including beer, fruit juice, soft drinks and water (replenished once a day). Picnic baskets on request. Complimentary land and water sports (tennis balls*). Signature resort activities, including traditional line fishing, sega classes, cocktail classes and guided tour to Folkloric Flacq Market.

Superior Ocean Rooms face the Indian Ocean with a Juliette balcony, and have 1 king-size bed, sleeping 2 adults.

Superior Beachfront Rooms are on the ground or first floor and offer direct access to the beach via a terrace or a beautiful view of the preserved coast of Poste Lafayette from a Juliette balcony. They have 1 king-size bed, sleeping 2 adults.

Nautilus (buffet restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner), Aqua Beach Restaurant (bistro-style, open for lunch and dinner), The Deck ( à-la-carte restaurant open for dinner), Aqua Beach Bar (all-day drinks and afternoon tea).

It was good. Overall as I described previously, it was good stay but food could’ve better and options for veg and Jain diet followers.

Lovely adults only hotel on the beach front. Our room overlooked the beach and had a Juliet window. Beds lovely and comfortable, choice of self service meal or on site restaurant. Please note that if you want to dine in the restaurant a reservation has to be made in advance. I would suggest asap as this restaurant is booked up quickly. The restaurant only down side is it is the same menu every day except Sundays and Wednesdays where a supplement is charged due to bbq. Staff always friendly and polite with nothing too much trouble. A BIG mention to our maid, Jessica, who looked after us and our room. Nothing I can say about her would do her justice. Our room was always kept clean and tidy with drinks in fridge filled daily. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who was thinking of going to Mauritius. Read less

Jesica the room maid was really good and helpful in keeping us stocked with fresh drinks and water every day. Waiter service around the pool and Aqua bar really good and friendly especially Depak. One con (due to being a selective eater) buffet restaurant was limited in selection but still managed to eat every night and the different themes were good. The chief is willing to make to order for those that do struggle to eat. Aqua restaurant food is a lot better but at night you have to pre book the day before. Night entertainment was lacking a bit and bar shutting at 11pm for an adults only was a surprise. Would recommend here as a place to stay and would come back again Read less

I really loved the place. It has amazing view with very lovely and comfortable room. The staff is very kind and helpful. I am planning to come again to enjoy myself with friends for a few more days. Overall it was a very beautiful experience. Highly recommend.
