Solana Beach Mauritius

The hotel

Waiting for your drinks to arrive as you laze on white sands, shaded by a coconut palm. Taking a dip in a lagoon pool among tropical plants and dining and drinking terraces. Stepping out on your balcony to soak in endless sea views before heading out for dinner. This may be the stuff of daydreams, but it’s the true island experience guests come to enjoy when staying at the adults-only Solana Beach. It does deliver a delicious cliché, but this hotel also comes with its own unique twists, like the nod to the sixties and seventies in your spacious guestroom, which is otherwise thoroughly modern. It also gives you the option to do absolutely nothing – or to pack your days with cycling, diving, snorkelling, and even complimentary glass-bottom boat trips, and your nights with island entertainment and meals in three delectable restaurants.

The most wonderful resort! Great rooms, great food, great beach, great staff, lots to do and spectacular views of the beach and sea everywhere you go!! Aircon, Wifi, Entertainment, Good location and because it is Adults only, very romantic and relaxed. My tip is go on an All Inclusive package, it really is worth it at this Resort.

The rooms need some work as they’re dated. Food and beverage is impressive. We absolutely enjoyed the restaurant experience. The restaurant staff aren’t exactly the friendliest. They’re abrupt and all struggle with English. Best you go the buffet route as there’s less interaction

If I could change a few things it would be to have maybe set menus for dinner?? One day we didn’t have running water and couldn’t shower but Chris the manager compensated this issue for us. The staff were amazing Chris, Milena and Adrianna very friendly polite and welcoming. Towards the end of our two week stay we had a member of staff who ignored us and decided to see to the white French lady who was behind us in the queue. Could be an oversight but one we certainly noticed. After a 12hour flight there is too much information to take in and would be better placed if the welcome was done the day after oppose to when you’re jet lagged and just want to get to your room. Apart from that I would consider staying again especially as we found our go to places within belle mare Read less

An amazing stay right next to the sea. The spa Ylang is amazing and Wendy and Vima deserve special mention. We were so sorry to be leaving this beautiful place. We would love to return. All the bar staff and the restaurant staff deserve praise for their hard work.
