On the northwest coast of Mauritius, the resort overlooks the beach between Pointe aux Piments and Trou aux Biches, both famous for their pristine stretches of golden sand. Transfer time from Mauritius International Airport: Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. Please note that if taking a seat in coach this may be longer depending on how many hotel stops are en route.

Comfort Rooms open up onto the swimming pool or the gardens, with 1 king-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 1 infant.
All Inclusive option: includes buffet breakfast at the main Senses Restaurant, Privilege Room guests can have their daily breakfast served at Sandy Lane. Lunch is buffet or table d'hote at the main restaurant Senses, and Sun Deck with a meal credit towards food (weather permitting), a Rs 500 credit per person per day for lunch. Daily dinner (buffet and/or table d’hôte) at the main restaurant, a Rs 700 credit per person per night for dinner at Sun Deck (weather permitting). Privilege room guests can dine around at main restaurant or at Sandy Lane. All soft drinks, juices and mineral water from the bar, a selection of local beers, locally bottled spirits and house wine by the glass, plus selected cocktails (11:00am–11:00pm). Afternoon tea/coffee and pancakes or pastries. A picnic box will be available for guests leaving the resort for the day. Mini-bar (soft drinks, local juices, water and local beer, replenished once per day). All activities and entertainment, unless otherwise stated. Complimentary shuttle to Trou aux Biches 5 times per week (pre-booking at reception required).

Family Rooms have 1 king-size bed and bunk beds in a separate annexe, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 3 kids or 3 teens (maximum) and 1 baby.
Privilege Rooms are located in the Sandy Lane Village area of the resort, exclusively for adults, with access to its own pool, bar and restaurant. Rooms include balcony or terrace, flatscreen TV/DVD player and upgraded facilities, Nespresso™ Coffee Machine, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults. The following benefits are included in Privilege Rooms: Dine Around - at either the main Senses Restaurant or at Sandy Lane (Privilege Menu, daily set dinner menu); a 15-minute welcome foot massage to be taken within first two days of your stay, plus one full-day catamaran cruise per stay, including transfers, bar and lunch on board (weather permitting, minimum 7-night stay required).

The hotel is very clean throughout and staff are so friendly and helpful in all areas. Being Mauritian myself I asked if they serve roti and one of the restaurant staff said they would make it for me. There is so much variety of food at meal times and desserts are to die for! They also put on afternoon tea of savoury and sweet things.
I also enjoyed the daily aqua aerobics class in the pool, table tennis and evening entertainment. When we went to the pool and beach there was always sun beds available
And considering the number of people that were staying there, neither were very busy. Thehotel is in a good location to get out and about with a bus stop not far from the hotel. They also offer a free shuttle bus to the public beach. Thank you all for making our stay such a pleasant one

Me and my family of 8 just arrived back home after an amazing stay in this lovely hotel. The location is great with its own little beach and lovely surroundings. There are two beaches closeby which were great as well (Trou aux biches: to where the hotel has a free shuttle, you can hire sunbeds, lots of boat trips can be booked from here, clear water and white sand) and Mon Choisy (with lots of cute "food trucks" serving not only food and drinks but also supplied us with tables and chairs on the beach).
The rooms were always perfectly cleaned, the hotel has a cozy vibe with a bar, restaurant, pool and gym. The food was good and there was always a lot to choose from. The staff couldn´t have been friendlier or more helpful and don´t worry about booking transfers or excursions in advance, the staff will help you and also Bradley on the beach sells tickets for a much cheaper price than the reps. We booked the 5 island boat trip with him and it was one of the highlights of our trip.
A special thanks to Jay from the restaurant and SJ from the reception who went out of their ways to look after us.

The staff at the resort are absolutely wonderful which is why this review is hard to write because they made the stay so pleasant. Dinner was excellent lunch and breakfast could be better. But the biggest shortcoming unfortunately is currently out of their control. The stray dogs and cats on the beach and during dining are not pleasant and makes the resort feel dirty which its not. Bedrooms are spanking clean. The wooden look and feel in the bedrooms could do with an update. Gives the room a rustic vibe. The animals on the beach or around hotel will never give a good appearance. The dogs also make their mess on the beachfront. They did tell me upon check out when I gave feedback that Management are working on the problem. A suggestion would be to have someone in charge of daily beach clean ups. There is litter and dog mess that needs constant clearing. And maybe have someone try deter the animals. But overall a hearty resort.

Book trips from Bradley on the beach as trips are really good and not as expensive as rep ones.
Overall the hotel needs an update as is dated in places and needs more staff to ensure all aspects are covers.
Beach needs to be updated a d have staff there to keep clean and tidy as is lacking at present time.

A place to stay on the beach without music can be found. Kind staff. We were NOT in privileged area. Our room was at the pool, at 11 pm music is turned off, so we could sleep.
