I recently had the pleasure of returning to Zilwa Attitude for a second stay, and I can confidently say that this hotel continues to impress! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality, especially from Siva and Devianee at the reception, who set the perfect tone for our visit. The stunning beachfront location offers breathtaking views, while the beautifully maintained gardens provide a serene setting for relaxation. Every detail, from the spacious rooms to the impeccable facilities, reflects the high standards upheld by the hotel. It's clear that the management takes pride in creating a welcoming and luxurious environment for all guests. A standout feature of our experience was the exceptional Food & Beverage team, led by Vishal, the restaurant manager, who clearly understands the importance of delivering a memorable dining experience. Among the team, Lovevy truly shined as an asset to the Karay restaurant. His professionalism and dedication to service are remarkable and deserve special recognition. Lovevy possesses a unique ability to connect with guests, making everyone feel like a valued part of the Zilwa Attitude family. His warm demeanor and infectious enthusiasm create a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience. During our meals, it was evident that Lovevy takes immense pride in his work. He effortlessly manages the demands of a busy restaurant while maintaining a warm smile and attentive service. On one occasion, our family had a specific dietary request, and Lovevy went above and beyond to accommodate us. He not only ensured that our needs were met but also took the time to recommend dishes that would suit our preferences, showcasing his knowledge of the menu. His genuine care for our dining experience made a lasting impression. What impressed me most was his dedication to training and mentoring new staff members. Lovevy took the time to guide them with patience and encouragement, ensuring that they understood the importance of providing excellent service. This speaks volumes about his character and commitment to fostering a positive work environment. It’s clear that he is not just focused on his own performance but is genuinely invested in the success of the entire team. In addition to Lovevy, the rest of the Food & Beverage team, led by Vishal, is equally commendable. Sachi, a wonderful gentleman working at Lor Disab, consistently attended to every guest with grace and attentiveness. His ability to anticipate needs and create a seamless dining experience is a testament to his dedication. Nishi, who worked as a cashier at Karay during the bustling breakfast rush, handled the high volume with remarkable poise and efficiency. Despite the hectic atmosphere, she maintained a friendly demeanor, ensuring that every guest felt welcomed and appreciated. Furthermore, the overall ambiance of the hotel contributes to a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The stunning beachfront views are complemented by the gentle sounds of the waves, making it the perfect place to unwind. The well-maintained gardens provide a tranquil escape, inviting guests to explore and enjoy nature at its finest. Additionally, Mr. Amish, the heart of the hotel operation, deserves recognition for his leadership and commitment to excellence. His presence is felt throughout the property, ensuring that every guest feels valued and well taken care of. He embodies the spirit of hospitality, creating an environment where staff members are motivated to provide the best service possible. Overall, Zilwa Attitude is a gem of a hotel, and it’s the incredible staff—like Mr. Amish, Vishal, Lovevy, Sachi, and Nishi—that makes it truly special. Their dedication to excellence and genuine care for guests elevate the experience to new heights. We’ve just returned from a wonderful 10 night break at Zilwa Attitude. This was our first time in Mauritius and we loved the hotel and all the facilities. We initially booked Zilwa due to the wide variety of restaurants included within the all inclusive package. We were blown away. The food was wonderful and varied. We enjoyed the lunch bbq on the hotel-owned island, a short boat trip away. A quick mention also to Dooshita from the Indian restaurant, you looked after us during our stay and was always smiling! Whilst we were there, we paid for a catamaran trip (put on for hotel guests) for my husband’s birthday. It was amazing! Thank you to Johnson and David for making it a memorable day – good food, music and constant drinks 😊 We also enjoyed the free daily snorkeling trips and the vast amount of activities included in the resort – paddleboarding, pat and ball for the beach, aqua gym… the list is endless. The bar service at Sirokann Bar in the evenings were wonderful. We enjoyed sitting at the bar each night and our drinks were topped up without asking! The barmen learnt our favourite drinks and we had a laugh with them. Big shout out to Anish and Satyam – you made us very welcome and surprised us with amazing cocktails throughout our stay! A couple of times we hired Victor (Bhai Vijay Victor Persand, find him on the Guests of Zilwa Facebook page) as our personal taxi driver. Victor is an official taxi driver for the hotel. Victor took us around the island for the day, took us to the botanical garden, mont choisy beach, Cap Malheureux and the capital Port Louis, to look around the food markets and try some street food. We would highly recommend Victor if you are looking for a knowledgeable and reliable taxi driver during your stay at Zilwa. The car is large and had great air con! We would highly recommend Zilwa for your stay in Mauritius, we will certainly be back to this resort in the near future. Read less

Our holiday was Jan26th to Feb6th 2025. All comments and opinions are our own. We are pleased we made a great decision to stay at the Zilwa Attitude Calodyne. The whole experience was first class from start to finish. The hotel offered everything we needed, the room was fine ,comfortable clean and well maintained and close to the beach and situated within easy reach of the main hotel and bars and restaurants. The rooms are with thatched roofs and set in well kept grounds are in keeping with the surroundings of the island . We felt completely relaxed after a day or so ,acclimatised after a long flight. The food was excellent, the main buffet complimented by the Thai, Indian and Mauritian speciality restaurants with the bars at the beach and in the main reception area offering more than enough variety of beers wines and cocktails. We wanted to relax and not have to work or think too hard to enjoy our holiday. That’s exactly what happened. The beach sun beds were set up just in front of gently lapping waves and the water was warm and inviting. We enjoyed the lunch time bbq on the adjacent island to the Zilwa and poolside was also great , the beds comfortable and plenty. We had a very enjoyable Spa experience which we found well priced and again very relaxing. Overall simply no complaints, the staff too many to name treat us with kindness and excellent hospitality. The easy going nature and laid back but helpful nature of the staff contributed to the whole package. Each staff member made us feel welcome and that’s all you want. A great holiday experience and if the opportunity arose on the future we would not hesitate to go back. Thank you to all connected with the Hotel and for making our holiday such an enjoyable one.
