A great way to enjoy Tel Aviv

At this establishment, it is the former. The people who checked us in and out were efficient and helpful, friendly and chatty. The housekeeper we passed in the hall smiled and warmly asked us if we were enjoying our stay. The people staffing the breakfast room wanted you to be enjoying the meal they clearly took pride in preparing. Even the lifeguard was affable. We were cosseted by real hospitality.
The hotel’s location can’t be improved on: directly on the beach in Tel Aviv. In my opinion, there is a qualitative difference between those hotels – like the Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv Beach – where you can walk out of the hotel’s back door onto the beach, and those hotels that are very close to the beach but where you have to cross a street to get to the beach. We made good use of the easy ability to stroll along the beach.
The breakfast was typically extensive and of uniformly high quality. Yummy and filling. We skipped the lunch we had planned because after that breakfast, who had room?
The amenities and the linens were of high quality and the bathrobes (from Arad Textiles) beefy. The rooms we were in had recently been re-done and were aesthetic.
The only nit I would note is that the building dates from an earlier era. Management is clearly doing what it can with the physical envelope they’ve got – re-doing the rooms, refreshing the public spaces, etc., but at the CP, you aren’t going to get a palatially sized room that will wow your friends on Insta. If that’s your requirement, you need to go elsewhere. If instead you’ll be happy with a hotel that welcomes you warmly, surrounds you with comfort and attends well to your needs, you'll be happy at the Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv Beach. We certainly were.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation. The hotel is conveniently located on the beach. The changing facilities were pleasant and helpful. The room was updated and pleasant. Thank you to Ivo, for accommodating us and thank you to Alona for checking in with us.
Do not stay here under any circumstances

A simply awful hotel with untrained aggressive staff unsuited to the tourist industry - more like a hostel than a 5 Star hotel, from the shabby lobby in urgent need of refurbishment, to the poorly functioning bookings system, to the surly, grumpy breakfast team who act like they’d really rather not be there. No staff training, no customer service.
Old fashioned hotel lacking style

We were a couple with a two-year-old girl. There is no parking at the hotel, and even when there is, it costs NIS 200 per night. There was a long line at the reception. The requests we made were not answered. Bad pool, dirty and noisy. low level. Guests brought a huge speaker from home and listened to loud music. The food in the pool is poor and bad. No towels most of the time. Dirty windows in the hotel. Slow elevators that don't arrive. The phone in the room does not work, there is no way to communicate with the reception. Breakfast food ok, not fresh on Saturday. Good things: location, overall was a good experience, staff members want to help.
