We arrived at the hotel at 9.30am. Although a room was not ready our phone number was taken and we were asked would we like to have breakfast. We were made to feel at ease straight away. At some hotels we have been told on the day you check in you cannot use the board facilities you have booked not at this hotel.
Breakfast was perfect as have an egg menu and bring both this and drinks to you. Buffet is there if you would like it.
Or room was ready early we were messaged and taken to the room. We were meet by the butler team who explained the whats app number to use to ask for anything. They offered to unpack and explained we could have a number of items pressed for free.
The room was perfect.
The food at all of the restaurants is perfect.
We thought the service at the adult pool and manhattan bar was brilliant.
Thank you to Manjula for explaining the champagne opening and letting us be there to see it.
The what’s app was brilliant the Butler team were amazing from Rita our first contact and all of the team.

Leaving our friends at the hotel gets harder each year. There are so many people who work so hard to make our stay special. From breakfast, Gayathri, Christlle, Ishy, Shan Abdul, Alfina, Chandra and so many others are so talented and professional but at the same time are amazing fun.
Manzi, who is brilliant and Portia, a delight make sure we always have somewhere to have dinner.
A day at the beach or at the Adult pool is a joy made so by our dear friends Madhu and Amir. Such genuine, nice people and the experience only gets better by the appointment of Panda as the manager of the whole area. This man is so talented, with a great eye for detail and a genuine desire to make his guests' stay perfect.
Regarding dining we really enjoyed the food at Mazi the Greek restaurant with always a very warm welcome from Okasha and his staff. He and his team really looked after us and made every visit so special.
We also enjoyed dining at the Buddha Bar where our good friend Akhil really made our evenings so special.
A disappointment was the Sontaya restaurant was not available which meant we did not get to eat its brilliant food but also didn't get to see the staff there. Unfortunately the hotel failed to enlighten us prior to our stay and also failed to highlight the amount of demolition work that would be carried on during our stay. This followed a three day period where the hotel and grounds were transformed to accommodate a private event.
The checking in operation was a mess also following the late departure of the aforementioned. We were allocated an unsuitable room and, largely caused by the stupidity of a duty manager nearly caused us to leave the hotel.
Fortunately the wonderful staff at the hotel rescued the situation although it took3 days to solve the problem.
An absolute must for any future visitors is a visit to the Manhattan Bar even for non-drinkers. The experience of watching world class bar staff mixing cocktails is amazing and you are taken through the whole process. The addition of Milan the DJ is brilliant.
Head man is John, a nicer man you will never meet along with Manjula and Jude. Renita, who serves the drinks and the food at the Signature 3 restaurant is amazing, very professional, incredibly funny and a joy to behold. Kalpani too just makes the whole experience perfect.
A final word belongs to the guys who take the luggage, organise taxis and make the coming and going so easy when it is far from it. Nothing is too much trouble and they all have a smile or a joke and always a handshake. It is a truly brilliant team with Parami, Rohan, Abdul, Saillesh and Faisal and other team members just so absolutely top notch.
