We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Raffles. From the pick up by the hotels chauffeur driver to the excellent check out from Robert, we could not have wanted for a better holiday experience. The hotel is situated approximately 30 miles utes from the airport. On arrival the beautiful hotel overlooks the sea on one side and the palm on the other. We had a terrace palm view room, and we were not disappointed. The terrace itself was huge with a jacuzzi and plenty of seating areas to disk up the view and the sun. We had purchased club lounge access. Which was fabulous, and well worth the money. The lounge provided private check in, full breakfast , lunch and aperitivo in the evening . The food selection was superb, as was the drink selection on offer. From Prosecco to beers, wines and spirits, as well as since drinks and a selection of coffees . Between 2-4pm afternoon tea was served daily. Offering a wonderful selection of sandwiches, pastries and of course scones with cream & jam. A wonderful and fun experience. The beach was located on the palm side of the hotel. With plenty of sunbeds and views of the Dubai skyline. Food and drinks were also available to order at the press if a button, where the beach staff would happily look after you. For us the best thing about the hotel are the staff. Everyone was friendly helpful and offered wonderful excellent customer service. Shouts out to Robert from check in, Anita, from the Butler department, and Shehan from the exceptional Matagi’s Japanese restaurant. A separate review is available for that. Overall we had a wonderful experience and are planning on returning in August for our honeymoon. Highly recommended Read less

Beautiful hotel but poor customer service and attention to detail. Booked an ocean view room with large balcony and lounge access Just gorgeous but no mention of the fact that immediately above my room was very noisy construction work Took two days and two complaints about the drilling and hammering noise, to be actually moved. Next room was allegedly an upgrade but had a number of items in the room that didn’t work - most problematic was the fridge as I had medication that was stored at too high a temperature for 8 hours No one seemed to care and despite being assured this room would still give me lounge access, I constantly struggled to get that - lift would not allow room key to that floor They do have a children’s pool but no areas around the main pool that are adults only, so it’s full of children and the noise that comes with them having a fun time Beautiful hotel but I certainly won’t return Read less

Saturday brunch was awesome, by far the best in Dubai. The food and the ambience is superb. Strongly recommend to visit the place when the weather allows outside dining. Also special thanks to Rishi who has provided a unique service. Highly recommended.

Tonight we had Shehan as our waiter and he was absolutely brilliant. Nothing was too much of an effort for him and he made us feel very welcome and relaxed as soon as we arrived. I highly recommend coming here as the food was great and the staff were amazing
