Where is it

Set on its own 900m stretch of private shoreline, on Jumeirah Beach, alongside Dubai Marina and a 5-minute walk to Marina Walk and JBR walk. Emirates Golf Club and The Montgomerie golf course are a short drive away. Walkable distance from the newly built Mina Seyahi tram station. Transfer time from Dubai International Airport: 35 minutes.

Mini-bar, in-room dining, Mare by Bussola, Conservatory and Latitude are not included in the half-board dine around, and will be charged to the guest room upon consumption. Westin Club Room Skyline View have city views with 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (up to 12 years of age) and an infant.

Westin Club Room Sea View have sea views with 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (up to 12 years of age) and an infant.

Westin Club Suite Sea View have sea views and are larger with open-plan living room, dining table, private bedroom and bathroom with dual vanities. Suites with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (up to 12 years of age) and an infant.

Second day we changed and had lunch on the beach a big thank you to the hard workers on the beach… you get free water in a cool bag which was great bonus. Another night we ate in the pizza restaurant which was amazing.. again great staff very helpful. The only negative was we went to the Spanish restaurant in the hotel we decided on Tapas as we’d eaten earlier in the day.. however they didn’t all come together and they were cold.. The hotel is situated on a complex with W , and Le Meridian . The hotel beach looks out to the marina and the backdrop shows off Dubai’s towering skyline. The three hotels share a water park and beach and guests are able move freely between the large variety of pools. W however is an adult only hotel. We arrived early morning after a red eye flight with Virgin. The duty manager advised that our room was ready and not too early for a nap on arrival! We were offered a choice of rooms ,we decided to stay on the ground floor with a balcony and access to the gardens from the patio. We were offered a welcome drink in the beautiful designed reception area which flows into the most elegant bird cage design hotel bar. The room itself was designs classically . Very comfortable two queen beds and additional single for either a child or adults . The bathroom was simply beautiful and very spacious . The hotel provided towels and dressing gown . Hot drink facilities. Mini bar came at a supplement . Rooms were discreetly serviced twice a day. We opted for the half board dine around. Breakfast was served in Minas Kichen . coffee and tea were on offer from severs and there were a large numbers of stations serving omlettes , pancakes , yogurts , breads , juices .. there is enough choice for everyone! My understanding from the half board offer is that you can eat in any of the approved restaurants in any of the 3 hotels on the complex .. there is more than enough variety! We dined in the Asian fusion restaurant which was wonderful.. portion size was exceptional and the choice of dishes on offer was wonderful. We also ate in Bussola Pizzeria .. the upper deck of this restaurant offers wonderful views! The pizzas were to die for! Towels are provided poolside daily at various kiosks. Lifeguards are on duty for the duration of the pool opening times , they are very helpful and friendly . There is a large heated pool , a children’s pool and a pool with swimming lanes outside the Westin.The pool seemed quiet but we visited in January and the weather was cooler morning and evening. Staff were attentive , offering drinks and pool snacks . We had an incident where ants got into my son’s pizza near the pool (nobody’s fault) but the kind staff replaced the pizza and brough a fruit platter as an apology. The hotel also has access to a water park with a variety of slides to suit various ages. Life guards are on duty . There are various bean bags around the pools and slides to relax . The private beach looks out to the marina , the water was clear and buckets and spades were on offer for children . There are parasols and plenty to ensure shade on the hottest of days . The water was of excellent clarity. Apart from the fabulous facilities , I cannot stress how fantastic the staff at Westin are! Every single member of staff added to our wonderful stay! This place is accessible with the metro station a 5 minute walk from the front of the hotel which can access the Marina Mall ,JBR and Dubai mall.. as Wel as various other areas across Dubai . However Uber is reasonable in Dubai. Absolutely fantastic stay .. possible one if not the best hotel/resort experience I have had! We will be back! Read less
