Board basis options

Breakfast option includes: International buffet breakfast will be served in Saffar All Day Dining Restaurant. Breakfast taken outside designated meal timings will be charged separately as per consumption. Breakfast ordered through room service will be charged as per consumption.

Half Board option includes: breakfast and dinner at Saffar All Day Dining Restaurant which includes food only, all drinks will be charged as per consumption. Complimentary one small bottle of water per person per meal.

Full Board option includes: breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Saffar All Day Dining Restaurant which includes food only, all drinks will be charged as per consumption. Complimentary one small bottle of water per person per meal.

All-Inclusive option includes: breakfast, lunch and dinner at Saffar All Day Dining Restaurant, or 3 course dinner - set-menu at either Levant & Nar or NoHo Bar & Grilll. Selected soft & house beverages are available from 12:30pm – 10:00pm at Saffar. Soft & house beverages included from 11:00am – 07:00pm in ShaSha. Soft & house beverages included from 07:00pm - 10:00pm at Amarbar. 4 house beverages per person with set-menu meals at Levant & Nar and NoHo Bar & Grill. Other meals and drinks not included in the All Inclusive meal plan will be charged to the guest’s account. All Inclusive package ends at 12 noon on the day of check out, unless late check out extended and paid (does not apply on complimentary late check out extensions).

Guests with Half Board, Full Board, and All-Inclusive meal plan bookings. Guests are now entitled to utilize their 120 AED credit during the NoHo Brunch, which is hosted every Saturday. Please note that an additional supplement is applicable for certain packages: ‘Bubbly Experience’ and ‘Driver’s Choice’ packages and ‘Champagne Experience’ package. Guests have to make reservations in advance to secure their spot.

The rooms are very confortable, amenities are great and staff extremely kind and helpful! Mr Hafeez and Ms Jeanette from housekeeping are the greatest! We will also enjoyed the different restaurant options that the hotel offers. We will certainly come back!

Not As Advertised. Research Carefully Before Booking.

I have thought long and hard about submitting this review, and have held off from doing so pending the outcome of a complaint raised with the holiday provider. We now have that outcome, which is disappointing to say the least. My reason for writing this review is that I feel very strongly that potential visitors are being, and will continue to be, misled about this resort, not only by the way it is advertised, but also by reviews, and I want to try to help people if I can. This is a relatively expensive holiday, and certainly too expensive for people then to be left feeling the way we felt, and still feel. I honestly do not understand why the majority of reviewers are continuing to concentrate only on the positive aspects (and there are indeed many many positives) and making little or no comment whatsoever about the fact that there is major construction work and noise. Photographs are being posted which, if extended a little to the left or right, would in fact show a very different picture. I would urge potential travellers to check out the reviews where people have commented on the construction and associated noise, and believe them. This hotel is undoubtedly beautiful, the staff wonderful, the food fantastic, and at another time it would possibly have been perfect, but our experience was NOT idyllic. At the time of our stay in October, the work being carried out immediately next to the resort’s beach (which work is outwith the hotel’s control) took place over a 24 hours period, every single day, for our entire stay. The noise was constant. As I have stated in complaint correspondence, this is unacceptable and unfair. Towards the end of our stay, work was also re-started on a beach bar (this definitely was within the hotel’s control). Up until that point, this partially built bar was just yet another blight on what should have been an idyllic view. I would urge people to check and re-check the up to date status of either nearby works or onsite works, and seek assurances that the information being given is absolutely correct. Please also consider the fact that, at least at the time of our stay, there was no scope at all for walks along a coastline. That was taken up by cranes. I would end by saying that I have nothing but praise for Guest Services Manager, May Mahmoud, who spent a lot of time with us, and organised a wonderful upgrade (we were moved twice) to ensure we were as comfortable and happy as possible. She rescued our holiday, and is a credit to this hotel, and we are extremely grateful to her. Read less

Holidays destroyed by 24/7 noise

I was in UAE many times before but this was the worst stay ever. Hotel is nice, food delicious and stuff outstanding (thank you all!), but.. There is super noisy construction just next to the hotel, which we were not informed about. There are cranes and plenty of heavy machinery just at the beach, building new island. They start at 6 am and continue until 10 pm or later. When we tried to accomodate to this disturbance, we heard another constructions during entire nights and we raliazed that it is our hotel building huge podium on our beach. The works continue for nights and days as the hotel prepares for some corporate event. It is ashaming that the preparation for this event is to absolute detriment to other guests who are all suffering from noise, dust and destroyed holiday. There was no information, no excuse, no compensation. Corporate event first, other guests are ignored like being second or third class visitors. Our holiday was completely destroyed, days and nights no single minute of silence. The hotel showed complete disrespect for people who could be regular guests. Read less

Perfect winter break

We have stayed at many luxury hotels in the past but the staff, without exception, were all so very polite and courteous always with a smile on their faces, always willing to help. Something sadly missing from so many other businesses. The hotel was clean, modern and stylish. The restaurants served a variety of food so wide that there is always something to please everyone. The hotel grounds were picturesque, well designed and constantly maintained. The sea view across the pool from our room was amazing. The very few downsides were the main buffet style restaurant seemed a little small for the number of guests it is designed to serve. However the range and quality of food on offer was excellent as were the a la carte restaurants. The "all inclusive" offering had complex restrictions on what was included in different restaurants at specific times of the day. It would benefit having a more simple consistent offering. Previous reviewers have mentioned the construction works at the adjacent site. At the time of our visit the external works were almost complete so no noise or nuisance on that score. However, the formation of a new breakwater did generate noise from 6:30am from 3 diggers, a bulldozer and lorries carting away the spoil which did wake us earlier than we would have liked. On our last day a third of the beach was cordoned off to allow the construction work to continue but my guess is the heavy work will be completed by the end of February 2025. I suggest you check this with the hotel. Finally, the white sand beach looks and feels great but we were told it was made from crushed stone. In doing so the sand is very fine, probably too fine, resulting in dusty shoes and feet. Having said all of the above, we would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone. We had a brilliant holiday relaxing in the constant 25 to 28 degree heat with cloudless skies and light winds all week. Read less

MY STAY WAS FROM 06-12-2024 TO 08-12-2024 AND THE STAY WAS NOTHING BUT A NIGHTMARE

READ CAREFULLY : I AM DIMOND ELITE MEMBER PLUS AMBASSADOR FROM PAST 2.5 YEARS. MY STAY WAS FROM 06-12-2024 TO 08-12-2024 AND THE STAY WAS NOTHING BUT A NIGHTMARE. I wanted to celebrate my Anniversary on 7th December. When I reached I was NOT being recognized as Dimond Elite & Ambassador Member. Duty manager was very irresponsible, she told me that you have to wait for some time as our video shooting is going on for some advertisement, this is before I could speak something. We waited for 30 min outside with my old parents of 84 years old. Than after raising my Voice they allowed to sit inside hotel. After 30 min they asked me to go to Club Lounge Check in, (they could have told me this 30 Min Before which they didn’t do) Than after reaching there they have given me a room on ground floor which is on a highway every one pass by can peep in room. And Informed me that all Rooms are full for Club Intercontinental Building. Then again I have to struggle a lot to tell I am not staying in this lousy rooms. Finally they have given me Rooms in Same Intercontinental Building ( don’t know after 1 Hour how 2 rooms were available suddenly) Nightmare didn’t stopped here. I had Book 2 Rooms for me and Family of 6 so we needed extra Bed in Both Rooms. Despite of 4 Intimation No one bothered to allocate any extra bed.. In Hotel which is called 5 stars two of my Family members have to sleep on a couch. The Behavior from Lounge team was like they are doing a Favour to us while fulfilling the order and they were very unfriendly and not supportive. Even if you need anything from Room Service we have to call minimum 3 times to get attention.. Honestly this is my 4th Stay and past 3 stays were not so bad but this time my entire vacation and anniversary got ruined because of Lousy behavior from All duty Managers / Staff / Service. I have already discussed to all duty manages and they have one word to tell me "sorry for inconvenience" like a call center guys.. Intercontinental RAK you suck badly. Me and my entire family and Friend Circle have decided Never Ever Visit again in your property in lifetime.. My membership number is *****8414 – since this is social media don’t want to publish my membership but Intercontinental Guys you will get this matching in your system.
