The hotel

A brand new resort on Hayat Island in Ras Al Khaimah, the Intercontinental offers sea views from all rooms, giving that idyllic island feel that you’re craving from a beach holiday. 351 generously sized rooms, suites and villas, all with spacious balcony or terrace with day beds, air-conditioning, coffee/tea-making facilities, minibar*, and flat-screen TV.

Classic Sea View rooms with either 1 king-size bed or 2 twin beds, sleeping maximum 4 people. 


Board basis options

Breakfast option includes: International buffet breakfast will be served in Saffar All Day Dining Restaurant. Breakfast taken outside designated meal timings will be charged separately as per consumption. Breakfast ordered through room service will be charged as per consumption.

Half Board option includes: breakfast and dinner at Saffar All Day Dining Restaurant which includes food only, all drinks will be charged as per consumption. Complimentary one small bottle of water per person per meal.

Full Board option includes: breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Saffar All Day Dining Restaurant which includes food only, all drinks will be charged as per consumption. Complimentary one small bottle of water per person per meal.

All-Inclusive option includes: breakfast, lunch and dinner at Saffar All Day Dining Restaurant, or 3 course dinner - set-menu at either Levant & Nar or NoHo Bar & Grilll. Selected soft & house beverages are available from 12:30pm – 10:00pm at Saffar. Soft & house beverages included from 11:00am – 07:00pm in ShaSha. Soft & house beverages included from 07:00pm - 10:00pm at Amarbar. 4 house beverages per person with set-menu meals at Levant & Nar and NoHo Bar & Grill. Other meals and drinks not included in the All Inclusive meal plan will be charged to the guest’s account. All Inclusive package ends at 12 noon on the day of check out, unless late check out extended and paid (does not apply on complimentary late check out extensions). 

Guests with Half Board, Full Board, and All-Inclusive meal plan bookings. Guests are now entitled to utilize their 120 AED credit during the NoHo Brunch, which is hosted every Saturday. Please note that an additional supplement is applicable for certain packages: ‘Bubbly Experience’ and ‘Driver’s Choice’ packages and ‘Champagne Experience’ package. Guests have to make reservations in advance to secure their spot.

Junior One Bedroom Suite Sea View with separate living room, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Resort One Bedroom Suite Sea View, with separate living room, and either 1 king-size bed or 2 twin beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

One Bedroom Family Villas are just steps from the beach, with spacious living and dining area, and bedroom with either 1 king-size bed or 2 twin beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

One Bedroom Private Pool Villas are just steps from the beach, with a private pool, spacious living and dining area, and bedroom with either 1 king-size bed or 2 twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children.

Club Rooms include: access to the Club InterContinental Lounge with a separate check-in area, private pool, deep soaking jacuzzi, as well as deluxe culinary offers throughout the day such as cocktail happy hour and afternoon tea.

Saffar (International cuisinge, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner). Levant & Nar (Turkish and Lebanese cuisine, with sea views). Noho (stylish New York inspired bar and grill). Ramsa Lounge (lobby lounge serving hot drinks and pastries). Amarbar (library style bar serving drinks and light bites). Shasha Pool Bar (poolside bar serving food, cocktails and shisha). Sahar Beach Bar (Mediterranean cuisine, cocktails and light bites).

Please note: Levant & Nar and NoHo Bar & Grill: from 6:00pm-8:00pm, family seating is available for children aged six and under. Starting at 8:00pm, only guests above the age of six are accepted in both the venues.

The food at the hotel is great wherever you eat and we had fabulous food in the NoHo and tended to have breakfast and dinner in the Saffar buffet restaurant where the staff greet you with a welcome smile every visit, a special mention to Chef Bashant for helping my left handed wife cut her bread, thanks to you all for a fabulous stay. The InterContinental Hotel at Mina Al Arab was an amazing experience where hospitality and splendid service are the top priority of the staff. I have been there as a resident of the Marbella community right next to the Hotel, to have dinner and I can say that I was amazed by the quality of the food and by the kindness, friendliness and warmth of the staff. Always smiling, on point, dressed nicely and ready to help. My favorite part of the dinner experience was, of course, the dinner, which was buffet style. Aside from the buffet, you can have pasta made for you by one of the skilled chefs. The chef who has brought me a step closer to Italy while being In the UAE was chef Ameen from Saffar restaurant , whose cooking really helped wrap up my busy days with the help of the pasta dishes that he made. I truly recommend this Hotel if you wish to have a great culinary experience where attention to detail is one of the values. Read less

Noho bar and grill in Intercontinental Ras al khaimah is amazing! Great food and burgers! The beef salad was great too.. Great service and atmosphere, Krishnanta was very nice and hospitable! Really recommend for lunch or dinner especially outdoors!!

Surendra at House Keeping is really helpful person. Highly recommend him and the staff @ Intercon RAK. I requested some spicy food from Saffar Restaurant and they we really proactive on the request and provided with the food. Overall it’s a great experience
