The hotel

Inspired by the palaces of the Arabian Peninsula, you’ll feel like royalty at the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah! In a prime beachside location, 1 hour from Dubai International Airport, there’s an 18-hole championship golf course at your disposal and a world-class spa for banishing any lingering cares. All of this, combined with the legendary True Waldorf Service ensures a memorable stay. When you can tear yourself away from the grandeur of your spacious room or suite, not one but two enormous swimming pools await you – grab a cocktail, a good book and stake your claim on the sundeck. For more active moments, there are water sports in abundance down at the beach. If you prefer dry land, a few rounds of golf are a must, if only to admire the stunning fairways! Whilst parents are at play, the kids can escape to their very own children’s club, offering a variety of activities. There are also plenty of family excursions to enjoy – desert safari anyone? When it comes to dining, the Waldorf boasts an eclectic selection. Feast on food from around the world, including Europe, Middle East and Japan. There are also more casual options with pizza, pasta and salads served by the poolside or on the beach. It was a wonderful getaway trip from Dubai. You will feel immediately the happiness from the name itself Waldorf Astoria for its prestigious brand name but it doesn't end with that coz the moment you get out of your car you will be greeted by the valet parking guy with a smile 😁 and the man from the entrance will guide you till the reception area, you will feel pampered with everyone. Everyone is so polite, kind, beautiful people, well-trained staff. The receptionist was so good at their job, thank you to the person who gave us Arabic coffee (it was so tasty). The interior and exterior are just WOW feels like I am in the palace. By the way, it is not my first time in Waldorf but it always amazes me to be in there. We enjoyed a lot the spa sessions, amazing amazing 😊. Our dinner Buffet was super tasty.…. All the dishes we tried were so tasty, Voila the chefs were excellent, it tasted so good. Thank you to all the staff I don't know their names but all deserve a compliment, special mention to Kian and Uni who served us very well during our dinner. Thank you so much it's just a short time but all worth it to travel in RAK from Dubai. We will come back.…… ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Read less

Lubin was attentive to our infants need during breakfast time going above and beyond for us, ensuring her dietary requirements were met. Lastly Mikel in security managed to track down our phone and return it to us after my wife accidentally left it in the taxi. His came, reassuring mannerisms diffused our panic as he reassured us that our phone will be returned safely. The obvious thing would be to misplace the phone but we are stunned as if this were any other country would be cancelling all our credit cards and SIM cards, etc. Read less

This hotel with its impeccable service is beautifully designed and stunningly kept sparklingly neat and tidy. The plethora of outdoor swimming pools, a boardwalk and amenities are likewise all ship-shaped and Bristol fashion. The staff are absolutely amazing - from the welcome from the falcon (yes, it is real!) through to every single person. Downsides? Food: breakfast buffet was good but the evening dinner buffet was barely adequate to satisfy our pescatarian diets and it all appeared a bit “tired”. Oh, the music! Drove me a bit bonkers - but in the lifts the gentle Arabic music was so lovely. There’s a lot of construction going on and the noise level from our balcony (landward) was unsettling. So all in all “fairly good with some outstanding features” Read less

We went for dinner on my dad’s birthday to Qasr Al Bahar, it was the absolute best and we had a great experience since the food was amazing and the staff was just fabulous. Ambar was such a sweetheart as well as Arjay, Ayuni, and Mobeen who treated us so well and helped made my dad’s day special. Would come again because of the welcoming staff.
