Image of the Tripadvisor rating Veronica is the BEST!

I cannot speak more highly of Veronica at Margaritaville Stateline! She was the absolute highlight of our trip and was likely the best Hotel Concierge and Associate I’ve ever received help from. She paid special attention to my group. Thank you so much!!

This place was remodeled a year ago yet basic stuff like operational sink and WiFi was too hard. Had to get a new room due to ours being not up to presentation. Have been standing outside of new room as my gf is returning to front desk for a 3rd time to have them program keys. They seem to care about making money but not servicing the customers. I don’t go to many hotels but can confidently say this is the worry hotel experience I’ve had. Motels I’ve been to provide better basic service. For a ‘resort’ it feels like like the motel 6 I stayed at as a child on my way to Disneyland. Will not ever book a room at a Margaritaville ever again even if it is gifted to me or gift the room to somebody again. I have zero clue how a place like this is still in business. Pathetic Read less

The property's recent renovation, spacious rooms, and nearly-heated indoor pool are its only redeeming qualities. Every other aspect of our stay fell significantly below standards for a resort. The most concerning issues began at check-in, where guests are first informed of "mandatory" valet parking - a policy that should be clearly communicated during booking. We witnessed multiple guests expressing frustration over this unexpected requirement. The guest services department demonstrated consistent unprofessionalism. Phone calls went unanswered, forcing guests to visit the front desk in person. There, staff appeared deliberately preoccupied with lengthy phone conversations, were dismissive, and treated guests with noticeable condescension. A particularly troubling incident occurred with the valet service. Our car and keys were missed/lost for over an hour, only materializing after we mentioned contacting the Police. When we raised this issue with front desk staff, they deflected responsibility by stating the valet service was outsourced - despite charging it directly to our room. The valet manager's eventual apology was undermined by weak excuses about staff shortages and human error. Basic amenities proved challenging to obtain. Requests for fresh towels were met with resistance and remarks that such service was "not part of their duties." We eventually discovered we could acquire towels ourselves from the pool area. Housekeeping visited our room only once during our four-day stay, and even then left soiled linens on a table. The dining options were equally disappointing. Come Monday's breakfast was remarkably bland - even typically foolproof items like eggs and bacon lacked flavor. Their pastries and desserts were inferior to standard retail offerings, while beverages consisted of processed juices and severely diluted coffee. Landshark restaurant delivered mediocre food with extremely slow service. Given this continuous string of service failures, we opted to cut our stay short by one day. Read less

There is a bar, resturant and coffee shop inside of the hotel as well. Hotel is beautifully, newly remodeled. Everything is clean and fresh with a bright, vibrant vibe. This will be our go to any time we visit. One drawback is parking. You either have to park next door in a paid lot, or pay to park at the hotel, no free parking options. Read less

My husband and I along with 2 friends booked this hotel in Lake Tahoe based on the availability to have multiple restaurants to choose from inside the hotel. We stayed Tuesday and Wednesday nights and expected to eat breakfast in the Come Monday restaurant. We found it and the sign saying it was open Wed. - Sun. for breakfast. However, it was closed. We went down to the front desk and asked about it and one person said it was open. Then another worker told us it was closed due to low occupancy. Well, that's not my fault! I booked and paid for a room at this hotel for convenience. But did not get any of the amenities due to low occupancy??? There is a huge sink but no counter space in the bathrooms and mold on the ceiling. Even though the rest of Lake Tahoe was decorated for Christmas, this hotel had 1 very small Christmas tree and that's it in the lobby. No ambiance for the holiday season. The resort fees are way too high. The pool was dirty so we did not get in it or the hot tub. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. It is right next to Harrah's and a short walk to the gondola. There were too many negatives at this hotel for us to stay at in the future. I do not suggest booking a room here. Read less
