L'Ermitage Beverly Hills

Beverly Hills, Los Angeles

The hotel

There are five star hotels, and then there are LA five star hotels. Built for the most discerning and demanding of guests, Viceroy L’Ermitage Beverly Hills is definitely the latter. Its address, attractions, and attitude all make it feel like a cross between a members-only club and a private home. On a leafy residential avenue, within shopping bag carrying distance of Rodeo Drive’s boutiques, the suites here are pure ‘Beverly Hills’ glamour, featuring dressing rooms, marble-clad bathrooms, and French doors leading to private balconies. And they come with all the coveted trappings of a luxury all-suite hotel: the complimentary town car service; the in-room dining; the spa treatments; and the rooftop pool, with its cloistered cabanas and 360 degree city views.

What a hidden gem this place is. Found the hotel through American Express Fine Hotels and would definitely stay again. It seems it just went through a renovation as everything seemed quite new and updated. The staff was very friendly. We arrived during their company holiday party so it was a little more hectic than normal, but the staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was very nice, well equipped and spacious. The only thing I would suggest is a bit more instruction on where to park/valet upon arrival. It was difficult to ascertain where to pull up due to the business at the time of arrival. Other than that I would highly recommend. It is on par or superior to other fine resorts in the area! Read less

Not only did they greet us with open arms but welcomed our two cats as well. The room was a welcome oasis during a stressful time and we were able to rest easy knowing we were well taken care of. We love the attentiveness to details given by the room service. Welcome service was also great. Just an unfortunate thing that the concierge wasn't very professional of giving the best service we expected at a high end 5stars Beverly Hills.

As always our stay at L'ermitage was amazing. From the moment you arrive you feel important and appreciated. The staff seems to always remember your name and make you feel right at home. The room was impeccable and the restaurant and bar was amazing. Plus you are a 10 minute walk from the shops on Rodeo etc,. Can't recommend this hotel enough!
