Visited the area to see our daughters who live in the area. The service and friendly staff couldn’t be nicer. Everyone went out of their way to welcome us and make us feel so special. I needed an accessible room and was able to get that which had room for my wheelchair, bars in the bathroom and a roll in shower. Exceptionally clean and well appointed. They made up the room without being asked and even turned down the bed and emptied the garbage in between. Above and beyond. Listened to the lovely piano player in the lounge one night too and the bartenders were plentiful and again very solicitous. Great experience and bed so comfy and quiet sleep.

Tried to check in at 2pm as I booked through the Amex FHR program. Room wasn’t ready but told that it should be ready by 3 pm. No text until 4 pm, so called and still not ready. Finally just showed up at 5:30 and got the room. Not acceptable. Got $100 food credit for late check in. Hotel was in a good location near the ocean and the attractions of Santa Monica. Ordered room service using the hotel credits, but prices were just ridiculous. Three cocktails and 2 appetizers for $175. Room was somewhat outdated. Could see some hair on the bathroom floor. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good, but again overpriced. Probably won’t stay there again.

First time at this wonderful hotel. Great location. Staff was very kind and helpful. Food was delicious. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. They may look “old” but it’s part of décor and ambiance. We really enjoyed our stay. Hope to come back again!
Our favorite place!

My husband and I love the Fairmont Miramar! Whenever we’re in California we stay there. Extremely helpful staff. If you are getting a massage be sure to request Paul Metra! Although, the whole spa staff is excellent. The Fig Restaurant is outstanding. Antonia Stearns, the manager will make sure you have a wonderful dining experience!
Extra charges without prior information! Pls be careful

Checked in late night, our Room was prepaid! Gave my credit card for incidentals only. With the amount of money we paid for the room, and it’s definitely not worth it! Found out few days after checked out, that they used the same credit card for Resorts fee + other fees! We checked out at the front desk, and staff didn’t say something about charges! They said it’s all good to go! This is the first time I’ve experienced the worst (miss information) in a so called a decent hotel! Called the Manager but instead of trying to check on charges, He point fingers to the front desk which he said “I didn’t do it”. It’s disappointing when the customer service is no longer practice in any hospitality industries! It is more on business and scamming guests!
Plus the room is not even worth it, squeaky bath room door, toilet flushed is not working properly. Housekeeper tried to get into our room without knocking saying “she just need to change the towels” and in the middle of sleep.
