Which was nice for when the teens didn't want to be in the same space as mom and dad. We asked for a mini-fridge that was spacious enough to store snacks for ever-hungry teens between meals. They keep the hotel clean and the staff are helpful. One of them gave us several recommendations for places to go over New Years and knew what was going on in the area (Ice skating & tickets for Cirque du Soleil, etc). Housekeeping was very good. We come here every year for an ultimate frisbee tournament on the beach but decided to come early to spend more time in the area. It's a great location short walk to the beach, mall, restaurants, 3rd streed Promanade & boardwalk. Read less

They set us up with complementary hotel bikes so we could ride to Venice and gave us detailed instructions on how to get to a great brunch place in Venice - Gjusta. They were both interested and interesting, which added to the experience of staying at the hotel. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. We recently stayed at the Shore Hotel in California and were impressed by many aspects of our visit. The rooms were very clean, and the janitorial staff who worked during Christmas days were both professional and friendly. The heated jacuzzi and swimming pool were wonderful amenities,there’s a small pool bar where you can order a drink. The location of the hotel is superb, just steps away from the pier and major attractions. The staff were excellent—the head concierge Adriano, a very polite gentleman, thoroughly explained what we could see in Los Angeles and organized our tours with perfect pick-up and drop-off at the hotel doors. Adriano showed us a real touch in hospitality and was exceptional in dealing with the hotel guests. Ramon, Jesse, Tiffany, and Brian whom we met at the reception were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and Joseph efficiently managed our luggage during our late check-out. There are plenty of shops and restaurants around the corner. Quiet and safe area. Overall , the Shore Hotel is a beautiful property with excellent amenities and a fantastic location, I would highly recommend and would stay there over again! Read less
