The hotel

Even the most dedicated urban nomad sometimes needs a place to escape LA – and that’s where Le Parc at Melrose comes in. Squirreled away in a residential road in cool West Hollywood (WeHo to those in the know), this high-design hotel is the perfect sanctuary between sightseeing, shopping, and nights at nearby ‘name-dropping’ haunts like The Viper Room and the Roxy. Every room here’s a suite – and Le Parc at Melrose are ones you’ll never want to leave thanks to the balcony, lounge, kitchenette, fireplace, and complimentary WiFi that comes as standard. (And, because you can order up farm-to-fork favourites from Knoll, the hotel’s upscale bistro, you don’t have to leave it.) If you do want a reminder of the city outside, you can always head up to the Skydeck, with its heated rooftop pool, cabanas, and metropolis-skimming views.

The staff at Le Parc are amazing, Odalys, Adriana and Umar at reception, couldn't be more helpful, solving small issues for us and giving great advice, so genuinely friendly and welcoming. We had two stays over a two week period and left bags at the hotel in between, we thought we had left an item in the room and Farhat from housekeeping, checked the room, emailing us to let us know it wasn't there, on return he asked if it was found, which it was as we had packed it in a bag to be stored by mistake, such fantastic service. Juliette in the restaurant is a gem, there were many guests who had arrived after being evacuated, losing houses in the fire, with their pets in tow, she created such a warm and caring atmosphere in such a difficult time for people. Many staff members have worked at this hotel for years and they really care about their guests and go out of their way to make your experience memorable. The hotel itself is pleasant, clean and in a great location but if you want a home away from home, the staff really make this hotel, thank you! Read less

This was our third time staying at the park at Melrose in West Hollywood and we enjoy it more every time. This visit was special for many reasons. My partner and I had special things to celebrate. And I didn’t have to worry about our lodging being difficult, we could focus on each other and leave actually feeling rested. The staff was always professional and courteous, and as I checked out, I had a question about the bill which one of the front desk folks went over with me and help me understand. The two ladies should be commended, but I can’t exactly remember their names. It is 1 o’clock on Tuesday, January 14. I had a lot of luggage and stuff to take down with the dogs so I was so pleasantly surprised to see Worku and Mauricio, the valet/bell attendants I already loaded my car with my luggage. The level of service and respect and privacy they give you at this hotel is just right without being overbearing and at night they had a watchful eye for any strange folks coming through, but then they left them alone or got them out. We will be back. Thank you. Read less

Perfect hotel for family stay in West Hollywood. A quiet, well appointed hotel, with full service, and affordable parking. The staff made us feel welcome. Leilany went out of her way to answer any of our questions and requests making the Le Parc experience even better.

The hotel is in a residential area so nice and quiet, but I felt that it lacked atmosphere because of its location. The shops and cafes on Melrose Ave and Santa Monica boulevard are all in walking distance. Apart from the lady who checked us in, who was not very welcoming, all the staff we came across were lovely. So friendly and helpful, always stopped to have a chat. The room we had was great and well laid out, the was a dressing room area with dressing table so easy to sit and get ready. My only complaint about the room was the shower, the water pressure was terrible and the water didn’t get hot, it was barely warm. We stayed over Christmas & were disappointed to find that the restaurant would be closed on Christmas Day, this meant we could not get breakfast… We were not told this before or during the checkin process, we only knew because we saw a sign in the hotel the day before. All of the restaurants and cafes around the hotel were closed also and anywhere that was open was already booked up. More notice should have been given about the closure of the restaurant The rooftop has a pool and bar area as well as a tennis court. Also has great views! Read less
