We loved this hotel. It’s a little dated, but big rooms, big bathrooms, great pool and spa and outdoor games for the kids. The staff were all really lovely, and the s’mores kits to use on the fire pits outside were such a nice touch. Hotel is dated and have a lot of fees for example $20 a night to self park. Staff and service was great. Surprisingly hyatt sells gift cards but doesn't offer a way to use them online when booking. Online explanation on how to use would've been helpful.

They stated that valet staff must be busy with another guest at the moment but would radio valet to come. After checking in valet came and informed me that it would be better for me to park in front of the building rather than valet since it was so close. Upon entering the room and checking things out I noticed feces on the toilet seat. I went to front desk, they apologized and sent housekeeping to clean which we didn’t have to wait extremely long for Vickie to come and clean. She was very friendly and cleaned the toilet for us. Also noticed a big green stain on the blanket under the sheet and had to call housekeeping to change the sheets which again they did do expeditiously. I would never stay here again. The room just was not up to par in terms of cleaning. Very disgusting Read less

In general, it was a nice hotel with amazing location and minutes away from the aquarium, shops, restaurants, etc. Upon checking in, we were greeted with a friendly front desk lady, who was able to help us get a humidifier to be sent to the room (because my toddler daughter was congested and not feeling well). Very thankful for that. Room was spacious and clean, but the bathroom was a disappointment. There is no ventilation so it would stink after one of us went for number two. Also, there was no shower door to be closed. Traveled w/ a two-year-old and it was a bit stressful because we had to stand super close to the front of the shower area, trying not to splash water to the floor outside making it slippery and dangerous. With a toddler that’s constantly moving around it was just a bit of a work. Thankfully, we managed to make it through but I just wished it was a full door that could be closed so it’s easier for all of us, especially traveling with kids. We also dined at the restaurant called Sea Root) inside the hotel. It’s the only restaurant that’s available at the hotel. The food was delicious in general, the ambiance was great too. However, the service needs some improvement. Our server was friendly but was disorganized. She would come to our table, trying to take our order but went to another table after we had a question about the menu. Then she came back again trying to finish out the order. It was a bit of a back and forth trying to finish the order as she seemed distracted with some other tables’ requests. Also, I wish they could have served all dishes separately (we had a salad, a burger and pasta), so we didn’t have to wait about 30 minutes for them to all arrive at the same time. We didn’t request for them to all come out at the same time. We were starving so we were totally OK if something was served whenever it was ready. In conclusion, the hotel is a beautiful place with a huge golf course, nice outdoor seating areas to relax and it’s family friendly. It just seems a bit old and needs room improvements here and there. Read less

This place is a gem, it was relaxing yet family friendly! There were numerous activities on site from outdoor chess, to golf, to a spa day, you really can’t go wrong here! Lots of yummy food options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Plus they have coffee and tea on site. The lobby and dinning areas are beautifully decorated for the holidays!
