I was not provided the room I reserved. The room was an ocean view. I reserved an ocean front. The room was also ADA compliant which was not requested. This was for my son’s birthday. I was very disappointed. When I complained at check in, I was told they no longer had the real ocean front rooms and there was nothing they could do. When I complained at check out, I was told I should have complained at check in. Overall a very poor experience working with young inexperienced staff that had no desire to solve an issue.

Hotel was in an excellent location. Great for parties and events but not necessarily a relaxing family getaway. Multiple events were happening and all of the common areas were crowded and loud. Service was adequate but nothing stand out, they did their jobs but nothing more. Valets were great, the most helpful employees on property.

Hotel rooms were clean and well appointed.
The sink faucets in our trim were stiff and hard to dial so need to address

Nice touch!

This was our second stay. The food is great. The service is excellent. The view is spectacular. I dropped my rating from five stars to four stars due to an adopted policy regarding the “lawn” area where the outdoor play area is located. The Vespera has wonderful fire pits that historically are first come first served for the hotel guests. Vespera now has a policy whereby non-guests can come in and rent the fire pits. This prempts usage by the guests of the hotel who have already paid a resort fee. We ran into this on Saturday evening of our recent stay. Further, Vespera allowed non-paying guests to come in and use the pool and hot tub, and the play area as long as drinks or food was purchased. We left the pool area on Saturday afternoon because it was over run by people who came in who did not have a key card to enter the area. We watched as the staff did not monitor. Indeed, the key gates where always open to the beach while we were there. We stayed here over the summer of 2024 and it was magical. It is still good but less magical with this new policy. It you pay to stay, you will be competing with non-paying guests for the play space.
