Make sure you take the time to check out hotel and its history and take a ride to the top of the tower to see view push 32 on keypad. There are plenty of restaurants close by and we found hotel to be in safe area. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend landmark room to anyone. Read less

Seveda, Chad and Norma helped me charge my phone AND we all dealt with a very creepy patron which they protected me from! The food was sooooo delicious! I had the citrus shrimp and mushroom ravioli….and the old fashions were to die for! I’m staying here next time I have a layover in SFO! Read less

I stayed here for a few nights recently for a business trip to SFO. I have stayed here before and always loved it, especially during the holidays as it is so festive and perfectly placed. This time however I was extremely disappointed as I didnt know about the union strike of food/beverage employees and the lack of food and a real bar at the hotel. They allowed these people protesting to literally sit in front of all the entrances down the side walks (under your windows) to make noise all day and into the evening. They were beating on steel drums, using loud speakers and blowing whistles and they started at 0600 in the morning! Uber's couldn't even pick up and drop off by the door and if you tried you couldn't communicate because it was so loud. It was ridiculous and literally ruined our stay as in addition they had no room service or a restaurant open. They told me they had an interim bar set up, but it was a person standing behind a small stand in the lobby with a small cocktail list. I paid $25 USD for an Old Fashioned in a plastic cup :(. I remember their Clock Bar was outstanding and that has been renovated apparently and I was told it's ready to open but they lack the workers. The rooms are still great, but we all heard the drums and screaming early and late. The front desk employees are helpful and nice, but I would avoid until this is all over as this is just not the Westin I remember from last year. Read less

The bed was the best part. The bed was firm and super comfortable. Westin Club access was lovely. There was hot breakfast available with fresh fruits, juices, and an array of other yummy things to eat. That was very convenient, because we didnt have to go look elsewhere for breakfast. The Westin is conveniently located in Union Square which was fun to explore. My only complaint is that there were no USB access in the room. Which was not convenient. So bring your USB block for any charging you might need to do. We had a lovely stay. We are looking forward to returning in the near future. Read less

I was to give it 3 points, so no food service… until the Concierge showed me the Restaurant which will be opened tomorrow just with view to the square. View: the gave us 30th City via which is the best in all San Francisco. That we appreciated greatly.
