Sheraton Riverwalk

The Sheraton is a nice hotel, a bit vintage with a 90's vibe.
Staff is friendly and helpful.
The only complaint I have is the parking garage under the hotel.
Although it is owned by the city of Chicago, the elevators have been out of commission for weeks. I see people trudging up the stairs with their suitcases and I feel that something should…

Although it is owned by the city of Chicago, the elevators have been out of commission for weeks. I see people trudging up the stairs with their suitcases and I feel that something should be said. I only go with work equipment, not big suitcases. I hope they get this fixed soon, especially before spring break and summer.

Mose a Class Act
Feb 16, 2025souptravelersssIllinois
Mose is a class act! He is a stellar employee. I was very impressed with his high level of customer service. I have not always experienced welcoming and positive customer service at this hotel. Mose has renewed my desire to stay at this hotel. He should be promoted to a higher position!
Very disappointed

Nothing was open
No bar, no restaurant, after travelling along way, it would have been nice to have a drink and food in the hotel very disappointing, when the cafe downstairs did open they could only offer us a buffet breakfast, nothing smaller.
Wonderful location!

We stayed here twice. Once in December of 2024 and then again in January of 2025. We go as a mom/son aunt/nephew trip. We get adjoining rooms. The rooms are comfy with great views. You can request a mini fridge for the room. You can walk anywhere from this hotel. Parking is easy. Check in and staff are kind. The hotel and grounds are…

They do "linger longer" which is an amazing perk. It costs a little more but it's worth it. We get to check in at 10 AM and don't have to check out until 2 PM.

Wonderful and caring managers

Today's managers Cole and Dominque were wonderful. Cole the day manager extended our stay in a lovely suite, which we received as Bonvoy Platinum Members. Later, when our room phone wouldn't connect, I went down and informed Dominque the evening manager (turns out the phone was temporarily out-of-order). Dominque was so gracious and when she…

Dominque was so gracious and when she noticed that the lobby bar hadn't opened yet, she brought us both fountain diet cokes from Starbucks. This personal service made us feel very special. Friendly and attentive managers. That's our take-away from the Sheraton Grand Chicago. This is our 6th stay and will not be our last. Terry Brewer (Los Angeles).
