Excellent hotel, excellent staff, excellent facilities and excellent location.
Overall a pleasant, extremely comfortable and friendly hotel about 100 metres from the buzzing of times square, also about 10 minutes walk from the Rockefeller centre and 5th ave, 20 minutes to the empire state building and the summit.
Excellent transport all around…

Hotel was very nice. Staff was attentive. Excellent location for 30 Rock, Theaters, and Times Square, walking distance to many places. Superior King room was adequate but not too spacious (I believe thats a NYC Standard). Stayed on 25th floor, not much noise except for the occasional siren. Would stay there again.

We would recommend this hotel for location, cleanliness and service, just off Times Square. Negatives would be the dining area and bar, very small, limited tables and the food isn’t great either. Probably due to the walk ins who confuse it with the HR cafe which is approx eight min walk away.
The roof top bar is however good as you need a room…

The roof top bar is however good as you need a room card to access it.
We used the local Diner & Grill 5 mins away for breakfast and the Sombrero for diner. Both very good.
Location wise it’s 5 mins walk to the Rockerfella if you want to see the Christmas tree. Most of the main sites are walking distance including Central Park and the Empire State Building.
You will need a cab, train or bus to get down the bottom of Manhattan (statue of liberty). Be warned the traffic is horrendous at peak times. You can get out and walk quicker around times square area.
The Pedicabs are great fun but quite pricey, worth it for the experience.
Advisory; It took an hour from the airport to the hotel in a taxi (heavy traffic), it took 1hr 45 mins to return. Both journeys were in rush hour times.

The food was delicious and came out very quickly. The service was impeccable and the waiters are all very nice, especially Milton. He did an amazing job and had such a great positive attitude and was very professional in his job. Thank you very much!

Our waiter, Milton, was the highlight of our morning! Great service and a smile 😊. We had eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and coffee. All of our food was delicious, and our waiter kept us entertained. Our first trip to New York has been awesome, and we can’t wait for the next trip. We’ll definitely stay at the Hard Rock again.
