The hotel

Once a button and ribbon factory in industrial-turned-artist haven Tribeca, Walker Hotel Tribeca embodies the casual yet cool loft culture of the neighborhood with curated design and programming from boutique hotelier, Bridgeton Holdings. Drawing inspiration from Tribeca’s mid-century heyday of exclusive art galleries and silver screen entertainment, the 171 room property features timeless finishes while offering streamlined modern conveniences, sleek furnishings and stylish amenities. The hotel features three food & beverage outlets, including: lofty rooftop bar, The Flower Shop, laden with elaborate gardens and inspired by Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, a sub-cellar cocktail lounge in a hidden location that was discovered during the excavation process of the building’s conversion, Saint Tuesday, and a lobby outpost of renowned Blue Bottle Coffee.

Wrote an email to them about it, no reply yet… Rooftop was closed during my stay, an info I only got upon arrival… These two points could be solved with clearer information and better communication. Their beautiful lounge gets packed with students to the point guests have no place to sit in peak hours. Rooms are very small, ok if not sharing, bed is really comfy, there is great window view and shower was good. Staff was very helpful and that made my stay mostly pleasant. Kudos to them. Read less

Great stay. Room with a city skyline view, very comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff. we booked a package which included drinks in Saint Tueadays bar, which was a real bonus as they were amazing and breakfast pastries in Mostrador cafe were top notch. Brilliant stay for great value.

Amazing boutique hotel in a great, walkable location. Staff was really accommodating and friendly. Super cool vibe all around! Rooms are small but there's lots of smart storage options for all your things. Be sure to check out the restaurant, coffee shop, and speakeasy!

Just horrendous all around. I checked in a little early and they said they’d be in touch when the room was ready. Never heard a peep. When I finally went to the room later at night, it was tiny and the floor caved in by the door. Cheap flooring and something wrong with subfloor. I didn’t have the energy to say anything. When I finally went to the room later at night, it was tiny and the floor caved in by the door. Cheap flooring and something wrong with subfloor. I didn’t have the energy to say anything. Icing on the cake I just saw nearly $200 in false charges on my credit card. I prepaid for the room via Trip Advisor. No incidentals at all. When we checked out they said their system was down and they’d take care of it, just let them know the room number. Yeah, they “took care of it” with a fraudulent charge. It’s probably unintentional but how many mistakes can you make? Not calling, false charges and a terrible room. Sad excuse for a supposedly luxury hotel. Read less

Great hotel and good value if you're looking to stay South of Houston. Easily accessible to SoHo, Little Italy, China Town and the subway. Clean and updated, friendly staff, up to Marriott standards and services that we've come to expect as loyal members of Marriott Bonvoy.
