The Bay Gardens Beach Resort and Spa is situated on St Lucia's beautiful Reduit Beach and nestled in Rodney Bay Village. Set on Reduit Beach in the heart of Rodney Bay, walking distance to restaurants, Treasure Bay Casino, duty-free shopping, bars, nightlife and entertainment. Transfer time from airport: 1 hour 30 minutes.

48 Deluxe Rooms and 30 Suites (with full kitchen, dining and living space) in 6 blocks of three-story buildings. Deluxe Garden View Rooms with balcony/terrace, air-conditioning, TV, complimentary WiFi in all rooms, safe, iron and board and hairdryer. These rooms have 1 king-size or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

All-Inclusive option: includes starter kit (an assortment of non-alcoholic drinks placed in room upon check in). Breakfast at the home property, lunch or dinner at any of the three Bay Gardens Resorts properties (either Bay Gardens Hotel, Bay Gardens Inn, Bay Gardens Beach Resort). Daily activities and entertainment including fitness and wellness activities and the newly opened Kids Fun Club (additional charges apply for some activities). All house brand drinks included at any of the four Bay Gardens Resorts properties (either Bay Gardens Hotel, Bay Gardens Inn, Bay Gardens Beach Resort, only by the glass). Deluxe Pool View Rooms have the same facilities as Deluxe Rooms with views of the pool, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Deluxe Beachfront Rooms overlook the beach and ocean, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

1-Bedroom Pool View Suites have a separate bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, separate living/dining area, with 1 king-size bed and 1 queen-size sleeper sofa, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

1-Bedroom Beachfront Suites, as Pool View Suites but with beach views, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

2-Bedroom Pool View Suites, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 4 adults and 2 children.

2-Bedroom Beachfront Suites, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 4 adults and 2 children.

Water’s Edge 4 Bedroom Villa, with 3 king-size beds, 2 double beds and 1 sofa bed, features a living room and private swimming pool and terraces, sleeping maximum 12 adults.

3 restaurants; Hi Tide Beachside Restaurant with all day menu and Happy hour at the Sand beach bar. Spices Restaurant (Caribbean and West Indian cuisine). Anchor Restaurant (Caribbean Fusion cuisine).

Complimentary welcome cocktail. Live entertainment three times a week. On-site activities daily. Manager's cocktail party every Wednesday night inclusive of complimentary beverages.

As a local, I felt neither welcomed nor well taken care of during my stay. It seemed that more attention was given to tourists. Additionally, the entertainment was lacking, and the atmosphere at night was dull compared to other hotels. Overall, it was disappointing, and I won’t be returning.

All-inclusive package, front desk did not inform of what comes in package. Room was near construction site, ask when booking if there is any construction going on. New room was wonderful once moved. Food service staff was wonderful. Beach beautiful.

The use of USB ports thru out was impressive. The room was attended to at a time that was consistent so that we were able to prepare ourselves for that scheduled time. From the airport at our arrival to our departure the Bay Gardens managemt and staff was exceptional in their service and information. Thank you so very much.

It's a beautiful resort that is well-maintained with extremely friendly, honest, and helpful staff. The atmosphere is wonderful. I loved that the staff were also playful with my two-year old. There were plenty of chairs on the beach and around the pool including ones with shade, and a constant breeze.

We had a very nice week at Bay Gardens Beach Resort (make sure you don't get confused with the other bay Gardens hotels as they looked rather grim to us when we went there to get the free shuttle back to the Beach Resort). We had a very nice week at Bay Gardens Beach Resort (make sure you don't get confused with the other bay Gardens hotels as they looked rather grim to us when we went there to get the free shuttle back to the Beach Resort). Our seafront room was very spacious, clean & had everything we needed. It was cleaned daily & the tea/coffee etc replenished. There are water dispensers in the hotel, which was good. The food was pretty standard for the star rating but always plenty of choice. Sometimes the service was a little slow, but we weren't in a hurry! The beach (just a step away) is beautiful & also clean. There are plenty of loungers & umbrellas & if not, the security people soon bring them. The pool was fine but we didn't really use it as we prefer the beach. We had some very heavy rain some evenings & unfortunately, there are no umbrellas in the rooms, so it meant a hasty dash in the rain to get to the restaurant! The staff were very helpful & pleasant & generally very helpful. The manager was very visible, which was good. There's a free shuttle into Rodney Bay & it also came to pick us up from a couple of restaurants, which was much appreciated. Overall, a nice hotel, but definitely lacked atmosphere - maybe due to the high turnover of guests - I wouldn't let that put you off going, though! Read less
