The breakfast was rationed and very random at best - having stewed kidney meat for breakfast was definitely a shockingly surprise. The grill to make eggs/omelets looked like it was never cleaned. The only good part was having a shuttle that would take you to their sister hotel, which is where we would spend the day to stay away from this place. Overall, I would stay away!

Always great to do my complimentary night at the Bay Gardens Hotel/Inn. This time we got a room at the Inn and got an upstairs room as I requested. Dinner was very good , service was excellent. Loved the karaoke night. Breakfast next day was very good and so was lunch. Everyone made me and my significant other feel welcome.

I would like to thank all the staff, especially those in the restaurant, for all the help and kindness shown to me. I walk with a stick and find steps difficult. There was always someone there offering to help. One thing I would suggest, is something to hold onto when entering and exiting the shower.

The hotel was basic but comfortable.
Bed was comfy, a/c was amazing and the room was right next to one of the pools. The pool areas were good also.
However, we couldn’t always get served either at the bar or by the restaurant staff. They always seemed to be doing something more important and left us standing for long…

However, we couldn’t always get served either at the bar or by the restaurant staff. They always seemed to be doing something more important and left us standing for long periods of time before being served or shown a table. (they were not serving anyone at the time)
Don’t bother to ask about the menu special as the staff did not know what it was and has to go and ask. Mostly the answer was “ it’s not available” so never did find out what the special was! Some of our hotel mates were charged for extras despite being all inclusive, any thing up to 200 dollars US because they were given menus that did not state that some of the courses in it were not part of the all inclusive deal.
Food off the menu was good, though a wait of anything up to an hour was the norm, food from the buffet was poor to average.
The cleaners and the ground staff were by contrast really friendly and helpful and always greeted us with an enthusiastic “ good morning, how are you today “?
On the whole, a disappointing stay, I did not feel welcome, I asked my fiancée if I could go home half way through, nor was I met with any enthusiasm to help by most the staff (but not all) at the hotel for the entire duration of my stay
I would go back to St Lucia because it is a beautiful island , but, sad to say, I would not go back to stay bay gardens
