This renowned health and wellbeing resort is the home of the original 'BodyHoliday' — a rejuvenating holiday experience that combines an incredible daily programme of complimentary spa treatments in the award-winning Wellness Centre. There are a wealth of daily inclusive activities and fitness classes included to help achieve the resort’s four pillars of wellbeing: Relaxation, Therapeutic Cares, Activity and Nutrition. On secluded Cariblue Beach. 20 minutes to Castries. Transfer time from airport: 1 hour 30 minutes-2 hours.

155 Luxury Rooms on 4 floors with 2 lifts. All with balcony/terrace (except Single Garden View Rooms), air-conditioning, WiFi access, clock radio, mini-fridge, safe, bathrobes and hairdryer. Standard Garden View Rooms have 1 king-size bed (no balcony), sleeping maximum 2 adult.

All Inclusive of: all meals and afternoon tea. All drinks including sparkling wine by the glass, premium brands and wine (excluding bottled water) with lunch and dinner. All activities and entertainment above unless otherwise stated.

 

Room upgrades

Luxury Rooms have a garden view and 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.

Luxury Ocean View Rooms have a pool view and some with a partial ocean view. Each with 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.

Luxury Oceanfront Rooms – located adjacent to the sea, with 1 king-size bed and with an oversized bathroom. Sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Grand Luxury Oceanfront Rooms have modern bathrooms including a bathtub in the bedroom. Located in a 4-storey building with panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea, with a generously sized balcony and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Grand Luxury Oceanfront Junior Suites are furnished to the same high standard as the Grand Luxury Oceanfront Rooms but with a sitting room area. Sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Grand Luxury Oceanfront Suites located on the top floor of a 4-storey building adjacent to the ocean with lovely views of the Caribbean Sea from the double-sized balcony. Featuring a separate living room and bathtub. With 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Grand Luxury Ocean Front Terrace have modern bathrooms including a bathtub in the bedroom. Located on the ground floor, with panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea, from a generously sized balcony and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Grand Luxury Junior Suite Terrace are furnished to the same high standard as the Grand Luxury Oceanfront Rooms but with a sitting room area. Sleeping maximum 2 adults.

The Penthouse Suite features an open floor plan with a large living area, wet-bar, a free-standing wall unit dividing the living and bedroom spaces. The Penthouse suite's piece de résistance private Hammam, which features a marble-slab heated massage bed, marble benches and steam room. With 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Please note: twin beds are on a request only basis and subject to availability. This is in the Luxury Rooms and Luxury Ocean View Rooms only. All other room types have 1 king-size bed.

6 restaurants: TAO (reservations required 48-hours in advance), Cariblue, Cariblue Windows (tasting menu with wine paring), The Wellness Café, The Pavillion Grill at the ClubHouse, iTal (Vegetarian organic cuisine)*. 2 bars: Piano bar and the Clubhouse Bar. Please note: some dishes carry a surcharge.

Nightly live entertainment. Piano bar open every evening until the last guest leaves! Weekly Wednesday manager's cocktail party.

There are 3 pools including an exercise pool, whirlpool. The Wellness Centre* includes a specialist skin clinic, hair and beauty salon and Pavitra — the first Ayurvedic centre outside of India, using organic Indian products with traditional therapies. Each adult receives 1 complimentary spa treatment per day from an inclusive menu of 12 treatments (excludes day of arrival and departure). Additional treatments available at local charge. A dedicated Teen Spa menu is available for young adults during the WellFit Families programme. Gym. Aerobics, soft adventure programme*, relaxation classes with T'ai Chi, Rooftop Zen deck for Yoga and meditation, dance classes, Tree House Studio for spin and spin max classes. 1 complimentary beach scuba-dive per day for qualified divers (boat dives at a charge) and a try dive for beginners. Bike tours, rock climbing, fencing, archery, volleyball, water-skiing, tennis, windsurfing and sailing. Sailing school*. Tuition included for all activities. Golf Academy with 4 practice holes, putting green and scheduled golf lessons included, 2 floodlit tennis courts and an archery range. Pickleball. An 18-hole golf course* is available nearby at discounted rates for BodyHoliday guests. Series of themed months throughout the year including Jive June, Yoga retreats with guest presenters and WellFit retreats.

This hotel has a Tourism Accommodation Fee of $6 per person, per night (payable locally, subject to change). Children aged 12-17 will be charged US $3 per person, per night. No fee for under 12s.

I have been to this resort previously on two occasions. Unfortunately on this occasion it didn't live up to it's five stars. Positives - the spa treatments were amazing. I have been to this resort previously on two occasions. Unfortunately on this occasion it didn't live up to it's five stars. Positives - the spa treatments were amazing. Most of the staff throughout the resort were hard working and really friendly. Beach and restaurant staff - it really did depend on who you got serving you (or not serving you) staff wise. Negatives - we got the full week of workmen and diggers on the beach (whilst they put extra sand down). The schedule for this works was never kept to. Staff and guests were not updated by management about when the beach was to be closed - staff couldn't answer questions from quests. They changed the beach closing times with little warning. Yes they discounted us for the affected days, but communication is key when you are doing works at a hotel! Food was hit and miss - our first dinner at the resort we had to send 4 out of the 5 meals back as they were cold. The Asian restaurant (1st visit) we were squashed on a table and then limited as to how much food we could order! We complained. The second visit was better (except for dumper trucks thudding along the beach right by us and dishing out fumes galore), but food was returned to the kitchen as the fish cakes were 'fridge cold' in the middle. The entertainment was either cringe worthy (female singer) or excellent (disco jazz player). Reception was always too busy and you had to wait to be served every time you went to see them - lack of staff. Would I return - I very much doubt it. We had an amazing time on our honeymoon a couple weeks ago at BodyHoliday. We felt very well taken care of throughout our stay. Our ocean view room was clean and modern with up-to-date amenities. We enjoyed the amount of exercise/activity options throughout each day. Food was amazing and quite healthy overall. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We also met a lot of people who are recurrent stayers which was a good sign. Would recommend to anyone looking for an all-inclusive hotel in Saint Lucia. We would definitely return! Read less

Birthday was so welcoming. There was never a no. We experienced one included spa treatment a day. It was all first class. The food was always delicious. My single room was spacious and the here was not a single supplement. The hvac kept my room cool but the thermostat was a bit wonky. Beautiful sand and great views from the beach.

This was not our first return trip. We have previously loved most of it but the issues are starting to take the shine off. The good: The treatments are amazing. The staff are wonderful. It is a great feature. The not so good: Concierge / front desk has become a nightmare. They are understaffed and seem to spend a lot of their time sorting out restaurant bookings for people. The webroom seems to now be partially functioning so why can restaurant bookings not be tied in through that. It was way busier than we have ever seen it. Sun beds were being reserved at 0700 in the morning and it was difficult to find places with shade. Added to that, the umbrellas that do provide shade were, in places, unsafe. One fell over narrowly missing a guest at the cariblue pool. The umbrella was extremely wobbly on the base with corroded screws. There were frequently times when there were no beach towels available This busyness also caused problems with activities. I am normally a fan of pool volleyball but did not play this time as there waere about 10 people on each team and the pool very crowded. The rooms seem to need constant maintenance. Over the years we have had so many issues. Air conditioning units seem to be particularly temperamental and prone to flooding and other issues. Service could be a bit hit and miss. I had several issues with things being dropped on me or things being knocked over on tables by the waiting team. I a sure this is down to new staff, but the supervision seemed lacking. Having said that, there were members of staff that we recognised and recognised us that are stalwarts of the resort and a credit to bodyholiday. The feedback form they expect you to fill in is ridiculous and I am afraid that unless that can be streamlined considerably, it will remain empty with feedback provided publicly. We are reconsidering going back. And we have been over 7 times. We will keep our next booked stay but that may well be our last. Read less
