We had booked a deluxe premium room and on arrival was told we had a free upgrade, only to find ourselves in a room overlooking a children's pool with water slides. The main issue on this hotel is the water sewage stream that runs directly through the hotel the smell is disgusting. The noise of the water taxis on the beach is so loud you cannot relax. On checking out we were then given the choice to move rooms but when had previously asked then claimed there were none available. The room was clean but this hotel is definitely not a 5 star I would put it as a 3 and that's being generous. Read less

Apart from the breath taking rooms everything is a let down. No means it is five star resort by service quality..front office responds very late or does not respond to their preferred mode of communication (centara’s own app)…they would charge you for things like calling in empty plates to room (yes they do it)..so getting charged for a cup milk… Read more

Restaurant staff is very mixed, some do offer great service and are welcoming but then there are people like Deb who seem to have no interest and are borderline rude.. Overall it is a very average experience for the amount of money you are shelling out.. Read less

Our second stay was just as nice as the first. We love the resort and the feel of staying in a villa in the middle of a tropical paradise

Horrible service and very dated property, they are closing the hotel for a year to upgrade but you can see that the hotel just doesn't need a facelift, it also needs a massive change in how the place is run. The staff are very unfriendly, most of them are trainees (as i was told by many of the staff themselves) who have no experience or formal training in hospitality, they have been sourced locally and are serving 6 month trainings. The breakfast is horrible and the entire breakfast service is so understaffed. None of the staff want to interact with the guest, they try to deflect any question or request you have. The only thing good about the hotel is the location, which is absolutely fabulous. I would strongly recommend people to avoid the hotel for the next 2 years till the time the renovation has completed. However even after the rennovation if the staff is not trained they will carry on runining people's holidays. Read less

I went in that day and asked to change the date, I was advised they would email me later that day…. They did not… I went back again the next day and was advised I would had to contact my booking website… I did… the site then said they would take care of it. A week later after the booking has now been completed (which I could have used being there already instead) they told me they couldn’t contact anyone in the hotel and I was out of over 3000 dollars! Now nobody will answer any emails and they have simply pushed me out of their minds and stole my money, ruined my family reunion and has destroyed my trust in krabi hotels… Read less
