We had an excellent honeymoon here. All of the staff were great, particularly Dinesh in the lobby bar who was friendly and very attentive. He always remembered our favourite drinks and made sure everyone had a good time at the karaoke nights.

We stayed in an ocean bungalow which was excellent and loved the fact we could walk down the steps from our balcony in to the sea and snorkel around the reef. We stayed in an ocean bungalow which was excellent and loved the fact we could walk down the steps from our balcony in to the sea and snorkel around the reef. The food was excellent with lots of choice from the 4 restaurants and the staff were very efficient, attentive and friendly. We especially liked the very jolly chef doing the live cooking and also Shorif our cleaner who kept our bungalow spotless during our stay. One final point we were delighted to see the island lit up with Christmas lights for the festive season.

During the day there was no option except swimming and sunbath. Only small activities depends on the day like 1 h badminton. Yoga was 10$ , thai box 10$ ok I attended once.
2- Oceans restaurant was terrible and need a huge improvement for the quality and variety of food. We had to take breakfast buffet there for 6 days and everyday was repetitive, same kind of food which is spicy Asian food. I was shocked when I got the roasted potato even it was sooo spicy that I was bad. It wasn’t spesified. There were only 3 food options ; pineapple, papaya, watermelon.
Nothing else.
Coffee’s was so bad as well, I didn’t enjoy at all.
The only thing I liked in Oceans restaurant was that Sir Mama who was cooking the omelettes. He is such a star, always smiley and friendly.
3- Italian and Thai restaurants were better if you can book it through app. Cause it us full always. But you try walk-in.
4- the view from the island was not good because lots of ships were passing and you don’t really feel like you are at middle of ocean , in a paradise.
But our room, luckily, was on over water sunset villa with even number room, so we were not disturb much with that bad view. Be careful while choosing the room cause i saw other part was not really pretty with port view etc.
I’d only come back for the room which was pretty ( over water sunset villa) but with those expensive activities I will not consider coming back and will choose another island. I live closeby to Maldives so for sure I’ll be back to another resort.
