Constance Moofushi was a real gem of a place. Based in the South Ari Atoll and reached by a short seaplane ride you get a real escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. The water villas I had were very well appointed with a real sustainable feel about them. The food and beverage offering was of a really high standard, however it is the staff that make your trip so magical. From Manjoola the Executive Assistant Manager downwards, all they want to do is make your stay as memorable as possible. Special shout outs to Danna, Thin and Nithen who gave us the most perfect wine tasting experience in the water at low tide.. I would highly recommend a stay here.. Read less

Literally heaven on earth. This place is idyllic. The perfect balance of luxury and simplicity with fabulous customer service that manages to be attentive but not intrusive. We had a senior water villa which was perfection. Sitting half way over the sand and water (depending on the tide) it was the best of both worlds and we had the most spectacular sunsets right from the deck. Listening to the waves gently lapping under the villa at night will be ingrained in my mind forever. We went early December and were lucky with perfect weather. Didn’t see a drop of rain until the final day when we were leaving. We arrived kicked off our shoes and didn’t put them on again until we left. Love going for dinner dressed up but barefoot! Just the best having the sandy floor restaurant and eating dinner literally on the beach. So relaxed. We were impressed with the coral reef and the island is doing all it can to restore the coral and replant it using frames. It’s making a difference and nice to see areas teaming with fish and marine life. This was something important to us as well as choosing an island that is being as eco friendly as possible. Here they really do make an effort to minimise waste and avoid single use plastics. They manage to do this whilst still maintaining a 5 star customer experience in every way. When booking we looked for an island with a good gym and we got it! The gym is well equipped with a good range of weights and cardio machines and is modern and up to date. JB the trainer and instructor is always on hand to offer advice and help and is super knowledgeable and motivating! A real asset to the resort. Every single member of staff we interacted with was polite friendly and respectful. Genuinely authentic customer service from a team who seemed really happy to be there. Standout mentions need to go to Javaa who looked after our room and Nizz in the restaurant who always looked out for us chose us a great table and remembered everything about us our names and choice of drinks. Honestly this place is perfection. If you’re looking for a quiet barefoot luxury resort which is taking the environment seriously, with authentically friendly staff delivering 5 star customer service, with a house reef and a great gym and stunning sunsets this is the place for you. From the moment we arrived at Moofushi Constance in December, we were swept away by its beauty and charm. We’ve been fortunate to travel to many incredible places, but this was the first time we didn’t want to leave—or even go back to our own bed at home! Every detail was perfect, making this stay a truly unforgettable experience. The Dining Experience: The buffet was out of this world! With an endless array of cuisines and options, every day felt like a culinary adventure. From fresh seafood to international delicacies, there wasn’t a single day we didn’t find something we loved (or several things, if we’re honest). The quality and variety were unmatched, making each meal a highlight. The Room and Surroundings: Our water villa was breathtaking—peaceful, private, and serene. Waking up to the gentle sound of waves and being able to step directly into the ocean from our villa felt like pure magic. It was a tranquil sanctuary that we never wanted to leave, offering the perfect blend of luxury and nature. Diving Adventures: The diving was a true standout. Manu and Shootte, my dive instructors, were phenomenal—professional, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable. The dive sites themselves were magical, teeming with marine life and biodiversity. What made it even more special was the intimacy of the experience; we never encountered crowds or boats from other resorts, making every dive feel like a private exploration of an underwater wonderland. The warm waters were the cherry on top! Exceptional Staff: The staff at Moodishi Constance truly set this resort apart. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with warmth and familiarity, and the personal touch of being addressed by our names was so thoughtful. Talking to the team about their culture and seeing how genuinely happy they were added a meaningful layer to our stay. A special shoutout to Richy, our bartender, who kept us entertained with his charm and skill during the early evenings. A Commitment to Sustainability: One of the most rewarding parts of my stay was spending an afternoon helping with the coral restoration project led by the incredible Elena. Her passion and knowledge about marine conservation were truly inspiring, and it was an absolute privilege to learn about the vital work Moofushi is doing to protect the oceans and restore the coral reefs. Elena took the time to explain the process and the impact of their efforts, making it both an educational and deeply fulfilling experience. It’s rare to see a resort so committed to environmental sustainability, and this initiative is a testament to the care and respect Moofushi has for its surroundings. Knowing that we could contribute, even in a small way, made our stay even more special. Elena is truly a star, and her dedication shines through in everything she does—she’s a real credit to the resort. Seeing a resort take such proactive steps to protect the environment was refreshing and heartwarming. It’s a reminder that luxury and sustainability can go hand in hand, and Moofushi sets the bar incredibly high. par-a-dise paradis/heavenly: blissful a place of extreme beauty, delight, or happiness The above sums up Constance Moofushi. The sand, the sea temperature, surrounded by nature. Diving/snorkelling was like opening up a tin of Quality street, the colours, snorkelling with sharks. Professional and personal dive team. Food. Exceptional. Every day, choices and flavours delicious. Room. A perfect sunset, peaceful. Clean. Jumping out of bed to snorkel in the morning before breakfast from my deck. Cocktails.....Richy. You are the main man and made us laugh every day, thank you for my painting and your humourful eyes. Spa. Anna, your touch is magic. Having a body massage, looking down and seeing the reef. Recommend the back of house tour - putting in the invisible work. What a team! A game of footie to be had there too! So many repeat clients, and we will belong to this special club as we will be returning to paradise. Read less
