Where is it
The island of Dhigali is located in Raa atoll. You will be met at Malé International Airport and escorted to the common lounge “Neeri” at the seaplane terminal, where you can enjoy complimentary access whilst you wait for your transfer. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 45 minutes by seaplane (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person).

Dhigali’s elegantly designed villas feature clean and minimalistic décor, with modern furniture and natural textiles. Lagoon Villas with Pool are built on stilts above the lagoon, with tranquil views and a private plunge pool. The spacious, airy bathroom has a freestanding bath and opens onto the deck, where there are steps into the water. With a daybed and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 people.
Beach Suites with Pool are located are secluded and spacious waterfront hideaways, with an indoor/outdoor bathroom, a wide front veranda, and an oversized plunge pool. With 2 daybeds and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 people.
The Dhigali Suite is an impressive sanctuary on the edge of the beach with its own courtyard. With an open-air bathroom, chic interior with modern amenities, and an expansive sundeck and infinity pool looking out to the Indian Ocean. This suite feature personal butler service, a private bar, and a home theatre system. With 2 bedrooms (including a large master), an extra bed or baby cot on request, 1 king-size bed and 1 set twin-beds, sleeping maximum 6 people.

We stayed in a beach bungalow near the seaplane landing area, but we weren't disturbed as only a few planes fly in and out per day. It was spacious, with the lovely Maldivian outside bathroom, large comfy bed, and excellent air con (much needed!). Our bungalow was kept immaculately clean by Rakib every day.
The Capers buffet was excellent - really good choice and quality of food, so that we only ate out once, at Battuta., which was lovely. The restaurants are booked on the app, and they get booked up very quickly, so you have to be quick off the mark.
We took the trip in the glass bottom boat, and the dolphin cruise, which were included our package, and they were good, especially as were lucky with dolphin sightings.
We also did the parasailing, which gave a fantastic view over the ocean to other islands. We snorkelled on both sides of the island, and saw a big range of sea life. You can borrow snorkelling equipment FOC which is a bonus.
One of the very positive aspects of this holiday that we'll remember was the care and attention given by every member of staff we came across. Everyone was unfailingly polite, friendly and helpful, so a big thank you for making our holiday so special.

We've just got back from Dhigali having spent 10 days in the resort. Firstly I would like to say a massive thanks to Christian and the team for a truly amazing holiday, from the moment we stepped on the Island to the time we left our stay was truly memorable for all the right reasons. We stayed in a beach bungalow 101 which was amazing, cleaned every day, stocked with beer, wine, spirits and snacks. All the staff including the restaurant managers, waiting staff, bar staff, café and cleaners etc were efficient, friendly and always took the time out to greet you with a constant smile making us welcome. We only booked the Battuta restaurant during our stay but it was one of the best meals we've had. We had no problem with the drinks and always had premium spirits which is included in the all inclusive package. The included 2 trips Dolphin and glass bottom boat were very well organised although we didn't see any dolphins it was still enjoyable and worth doing. Definitely the highlight of the holiday was the sunset at Haali, the beach is so relaxing and a nice touch with the bean bags for you to watch the sun go down.
Overall this was undoubtedly one of the best holidays we've had and will never forget this experience.
Once again thank you Christian and the staff for making us feel welcomed and would in the future love to return.

This was our fourth visit to Dhigali, we have been every February for the last 4 years, so this review is beginning to feel like an annual review, but I am pleased to report that Chris and his team are still providing an exceptional experience.
As a returning guest we got the villa we requested and it was lovely to see so many familiar faces. In the last 12 months there has been quite a lot of staff changes, but the team are so friendly and helpful it doesn’t take long to get to know the new ones and for them to get to know us.
The island has seen a lot of work undertaken in the last 12 months and the new decking around the swimming pool is a big upgrade, the pool has also been re-tiled and the whole area is looking really smart.
The restaurants continue to be very good with a wide range of food to suit all tastes, although I’m not sure how booking them on the island app is going to work successfully. Time will tell.
Thanks to the whole Dhigali team and hopefully we will see you again in 2026
