Very hard to single anyone out, all staff went beyond the normal ,From Egbert the king of the breakfast egg Station, Tiffany and David at the bars, and Fenton the Prince of the Beach. First time in Antigua. The island is BEAUTIFUL! Stayed at Hawksbill, after the rave reviews and price. You get what you pay for. It’s a solid three stars. It’s an older resort. They are doing some updating throughout the resort. Food was okay. You won’t go hungry, but it’s a lot of the same thing everyday. We had a fridge that was stocked daily, with two waters and two cokes. I did ask for more waters, but never got them. They do supply shampoo, conditioner and body wash, but I did not like it! So I would suggest bringing some. Lounge chairs at the pool and on the beach are limited. Get out early to get one. Staff was there. We always had a wait for alcoholic drinks. We begged for water at dinner. Staff seemed inconvenienced with us. We even left tips with everyone, and it didn’t help with service at all. We used Myron, who books excursions on the beach, and were sold an awesome island tour. It was not. It was a waste of time and money!
Most of those that stayed at the resort were 60+ in age. If you’re looking for a late night, this is not the resort for you.
