The hotel

Retreat to this stylish hotel in a residential pocket of Santa Monica, yet just a shell's throw from the beach and Third Street Promenade. The Huntley is both classy and playful, with a modern urban design, and those little touches that make a difference — we all love a chocolate on the pillow at turndown. But perhaps the real wow factor at the hotel is The Penthouse restaurant and lounge, where both locals and guests come up to the rooftop to watch the sunset over the Ocean. With signature cocktails (and happy hour too), and bar food like cured meats and tacos, this one is definitely worth a visit.

In the centre of Santa Monica just 2 blocks from the beach and a block from Third Street Promenade. Venice, Malibu, Hollywood and Beverly Hills are a short drive away.

204 rooms on 17 floors in one building. All have 60-inch HDTV, complimentary WiFi, mini bar*, Nespresso coffee machine, hairdryer, safe, iron and ironing board, and Bvlgari bathroom amenities. 

Deluxe City View Rooms are located on floors 3-8, and have either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults. 

Premier Ocean View Rooms are located on floors 9-17, with either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Was evacuated from the Franklin Fire in Malibu at 3 am and drove the family to the Huntley to get a room while we were evacuated. Was stunned when the hotel noted they had room but that they wouldn’t check us in until 3 pm. It was explained that we were evacuating the fire in Malibu with two young children and O was stunned by the lack of… Read more

We regularly frequented the restaurant in the hotel, but I remain at the loss for words for the way we were treated by the Huntley. Read less

I really liked my room it was very comfortable and I really enjoyed the decor. the color pallete was quiet and I appreciated that. I just wish it was not so expensive to stay as I was unable to take advantage of the corporate rate with Dimensional Fund advisors. apparently you were in the midst of negotiations.

All of the staff at the Huntley was exceptional, but a special shout out to Chuck who drove us to Malibu for a team outing. He was kind and helpful throughout our time with him. We so appreciate the extra care. Thank you Chuck for being an amazing driver for the day!

We just did our company holiday party at The Penthouse and it was such a great choice. The views, food, drinks and service were all awesome. We were a large group and everything ran smoothly thanks to Mandy and her team. I highly recommend for an event or just for lunch or drinks. The place is beautiful.
