The hotel

Everyday is paradise when you wake up with views of the ocean through the floor to ceiling windows at the Margaritaville Beach Resort in the Bahamas. With over 5,000 square miles of beaches, pools, and bars to explore, this is your ultimate destination within a destination. It’s perfect for families, with spacious suites to accommodate you all together, some even with full kitchens for those nights when you want to eat dinner alone on the balcony. The activities on offer are never ending, the water park being the pick of the bunch – and we know you’ll love the slides just as much as the little ones really! There’s also an entertainment centre to keep them occupied, with games, bowling and a movie theatre, so you can relax in the spa or grab a frozen margarita from the beachfront bar and watch the cruise ships coming in and out of Nassau. Make sure you grab a spot at the rooftop bar in time for the sunset, definitely an instagram-able moment.

My husband and I enjoyed the most friendly service especially from Ian and Matt at the Vacation Cafe’. The food is tasty and the resort is very clean and inviting. There is plenty of room to relax on your own or in a crowd. This resort is definitely a place to go when you want to escape to a nice getaway.

Ian is the best. Went out of his way to make a dish that was removed from the menu. The Jerk Chicken. Came out amazing. As I am writing this my belly is plumped with that meal. speaks a lot about someone’s character going out their way. Thank you very very very very very very very much IAN.

This was supposed to be a dream holiday in paradise. Far from it…. We are seasoned travellers all around the world and tend to book a suite and go all inclusive. Yes that’s elaborate, but what we’re used to in our now twilight years. I also find the replies to reviews from the hotel where there is a critique, quite condescending. The check in was awful. First of all our room wasn’t ready and we were told to wander around until it was. We explained that we were all inclusive, and they had to check… Then she found us and said the room was now ready and again I had to ask how the All Inclusive worked. We were then just given a map and program of the resort. Our room had a jacuzzi hot tub and the filter on it said that it was 10 days overdue. We gave feedback to the Manager Monique who resolved the issue for us. However, when we’ve paid over $10,000 for a holiday package this is not what we expected. Monique then explained how our All Inclusive worked on day 2 of the holiday and explained the restrictions for the JWB restaurant. The food and drinks at the resort is expensive for what they are. I would advise people to book some sort of inclusive package, for example B&B, half board or All Inclusive. BE AWARE, that there is an extra $58 per room per night to use their facilities. There is an extra $50 dollar per hour charge if you require a late check out. IN CONCLUSION: This an expensive hotel for mediocrity! The staff on front desk need to be fully trained. This is not unique to use, the other reviews on Trip Advisor proves this. Trying to get information about how our All Inclusive works after checkout was ridiculous. For information, it’s not included! I’m being generous by giving them 2 stars, and will now wait for their condescending response. Read less

The food was delicious! We don’t eat meat however the restaurant was able to work with us to provide an excellent meal! The drinks and service were superb! Definitely want to eat here again. The music was chill and I can’t stress enough how big and filling the portions were!
