The hotel

In need of some peace and pampering? Look no further than the elegant Spa — we recommend the traditional Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage. But if you like to be more active, why not set sail in a catamaran (keep your eyes peeled for spinner and bottlenose dolphins) or enjoy a paddle in the surf in an authentic outrigger canoe. If you prefer dry land, amble along the Waikiki Beach Walk promenade, stopping at a café on route, or take a hike to Point Leahi at the summit of Diamond Head. Back at the hotel, you can grill-your-own hand-carved steaks and fresh fish by the beach or dine poolside at Kani Ka Pila Grille, as you watch the live evening entertainment.

Overlooking beautiful Waikiki Beach and steps from Waikiki Beach Walk, a new and exciting promenade packed with shops, cafés and restaurants. Honolulu Zoo and Waikiki Aquarium are both around a mile away.

Hotel information

635 rooms on 18 floors. Rooms and suites divided between the Ocean Tower and Pacific Tower, with a private balcony available in most rooms. All with air-conditioning, 55" smart TV, JBL Bluetooth LED clock radio, USB charging points, WiFi access, bathroom amenities, hairdryer, and safe.

Standard Rooms offer limited city views, with either 1 king-size bed, 2 queen-size beds, or 3 double beds, sleeping maximum 5 people.

Resort View rooms offer views of the Honolulu skyline and mountains, with either 1 king-size bed, 1 queen-size bed, or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Partial Ocean View Rooms feature 1 king-size bed plus a sofa bed, or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Pacific Tower Ocean View rooms feature 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people. 

Ocean Tower Ocean View rooms feature enhanced views of the Pacific Ocean, with either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Club Oceanfront Rooms feature either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people. 

Club One Bedroom Suites offer views of the Honolulu skyline and mountains, featuring a separate living room with sofa bed, and bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Club Ocean View Suites feature panoramic ocean views, separate living room with sofa bed, and bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Club rooms include exclusive access to Voyager 47 Club Lounge which offers complimentary breakfast, as well as drinks and appetizers in the evenings. 

Kani Ka Pila Grille (island-style cuisine, open for all day dining, with live Hawaiian music in the evenings). Money Pod Restaurant - opening soon.

This resort was such a great experience for my first time in Oahu. I will definitely be back. The hotel was really nice and the staff were very kind, especially our floors attendant Jie Yi! Thank you, Jie Yi. Also, special thanks to Michael by the pool bar who was really helpful and sweet :)

The hotel staff was always incredibly helpful and welcoming! Li was in particular, wonderful at making our stay as comfortable as home! We also renewed our wedding vows on the beach- an incredible memory and even with several other couples, felt very personal and unique. Thank you for an amazing and memorable stay!

Jackie (maid service) was a treasure. Kept our room filled with the necessities every day of our stay. She brought decaf coffee pods for us since we couldn’t find decaf coffee pods in the local stores. Jackie kept our room spotlessly clean. Jackie was always happy and cheerful.

It was a Perfect Trip !! The staff there were fabulous. The valet very very helpful. Bell desk was really helpful too. Kind, friendly. What you’d expect at a nice hotel. I would highly recommend Club47. The convenience fabulous. The Foods Yummy. Coffee is great every morning like the Mai Tai’s every evening. The Monkey Pod burger was to die for! Sashimi tacos yumyum!! Cocktails at the pool bomb. I think what made my trip perfect was Joe. Joe works at the front desk. From the first day to our last day Joe always resolved or knew the answer to whatever it was I’d ask him. Joe made our trip extra perfect. Negatives I wish there was more beach. It’s really has gone away. Because of that not enough room for beach lounges. We never had a problem getting a lounge chair by the pool. I just wish the pool itself was bigger. Oahu is beyond beautiful. Planning to go back soon. We will definitely be staying at the Outrigger Reef for Sure. It just all worked. I sure hope Joe is still working there!!! The Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort is the best hotel! The service is outstanding from the minute you arrive. The staff greats you with a big smile and they are ready and able to make sure your visit at the resort is unforgettable! The staff remembers your name and greats you with a friendly " aloha "whenever they see you! The rooms are clean and the housecleaning staff is great and they do a superior job of making sure you have everything you need. The view from the Monkeypod Restaurant is fantastic! The hotel is right on the beach so you can view everything from your table and you don't want to leave because it's so beautiful! There is a Kani Ka Pila Grille near the pool so it is an outside restaurant and bar. The bartenders serve food and drinks quickly and efficiently with a smile. In the evening you can listen to free music so the atmosphere is fun and lively! I stay there yearly and last year I stayed there two times in a year because it never, ever gets old! I travel often but the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort is by far my favorite hotel to stay at because of the exceptional, wonderful service! No fear in solo traveling as it is safe, so comfortable and all the staff will go out of their way to be sure you have everything you need! I can't wait to go back next year!
