522 rooms and suites. The Great House and Butler Villas are located on the hillside of St. Ann Mountains, perfect for a more private romantic setting. Guests can use the complimentary shuttle service to the Riviera Seaside and Ochi Beach Club which is located across the road and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and facilities.

Some wait staff was rude. Front desk and concierge staff more interested in visiting with colleagues and friends than serving their guests. There were not nearly enough chairs for the guests at pools or on the beach. The food was just average, nothing remarkable. Limited entertainment. Layout requires multiple vehicle hops to move around the resort. Very disappointing trip. Choose another place to vacation. This is not worth the cost. Read less

We had a pleasant stay. Our room was lovely, the food was good and the staff was excellent. A few things we wish we had known before booking. First, there is only a small beach. Only a few small umbrellas are available so you have to sit in the sun. Second, the property is large and built on a hill, that means many of the restaurants require you to walk down a full set of stairs. Some of these are outside and tile can be slippery. My husband needs a cane for balance so this was tricky. Read less

It was undercooked most nights. We also would wait almost 40 min to be waited on during breakfast when there were only 3-4 other couples in the dining room. Our butlers were so hard to get in contact with, they rarely answered. They wouldn’t reserve pool chairs for us like at other resorts. They would take two hours to meet us with a cooler and there wouldn’t even be anything we requested in it. I had a massage and the ceiling was covered in black mold spots. It was just such a let down because we had saved our money for so long to go on a trip like this and we felt like our hard earned dollars were wasted on such a terrible trip. Read less

Jamaican food was good and the japanese hibachi was excellent. The beach was nice and was not overcrowded. we were always able to get a chair. The scenery was lush and the place was really quite beautiful i hope they undertake the neccesary overhaul needed to bring it up to modern standards for a luxury resort Read less

This was our 8th trip to Sandals Ochi. The last time was 3 years ago. We loved this resort so much we told many friends and family about it. However this time was horrible. We were brought to our room and the safe, and closet door were broken. I will say they did respond and come to fix it fairly fast. The next issue was the air conditioner was leaking so that we had to put the ice bucket under it to catch the water. We had to report this 3 times before anybody did anything about it. It finally appeared to be fixed but after a couple of days it started again but not as bad so we just let it drip. We never had good water pressure or hot water and one of the days no water at all and couldn’t even flush toilet. We asked about getting another room and no one ever responded to that. Most of the staff were friendly however management was non responsive. They were supposed to set up a meeting with us to talk about our issues and that never happened. In all we had been to a sandals resort 11 times but we are now down with it. They have lost a customer for good! Read less
