Where is it

Across the street from Fort Lauderdale's 7-mile stretch of sandy beach. On the corner of Sunrise Boulevard, minutes from the Las Olas Arts & Entertainment District. A 20-minute drive to Port Everglades and 1 hour to Miami's South Beach. Driving time from Miami International Airport: 45 minutes.

240 rooms and suites on 13 floors. All with air-conditioning, complimentary WiFi access, 49" flat-screen TV, safe, alarm clock with USB charging station, mini-fridge, hairdryer, Keurig coffee machine, Coco Mango bath amenities, and iron and ironing board.

Deluxe Rooms are 300-350 sq ft, located on the lower floors, and offer views of the grounds and the ocean, with 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Steelpan (Caribbean-American fusion, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner). Lobby bar.

I was very pleased from the very minute I arrived at the Sonesta Hotel. Everyone made (My) this Hotel Stay feel so very comfortable The workers Each and every One of Them were very Professional at there job but also So Very Friendly that it made my stay a very pleasant one. They made me feel like I knew all of them already and I was just back to visit them all again. There were a few bumps that I would call them, one was I have fallen in the elevator I did not let that stop me from enjoying the rest of my stay here. I also noticed there were ice buckets in the room but not on the floor I was staying on, and no fan in bathroom for when showering and using hot water the bathroom mirror was all steamy and I couldn’t see myself in it. no microwave in the room either. Small things, nothing from giving My Hotel Stay 5 +stars but what made it complete and the reason why I would definitely come back and stay here again would be for Evelyn, Andy, Rosa, Sai, Lesley, Patrick, Khushboo and Aaron and Security when I slipped and fell in the elevator and there were a few more workers I can’t remember all there names. but no doubt I will come back for more stays in the future just because not only the way My Sister and I were treated and the hospitality was divine as well. The room is clean. The location is great. Right across the street from the beach and a state park. Surrounded by restaurants and shops. The staff is nice. However there is a microwave for guests next to the front desk, the microwave is beyond filthy.

Pleasant staff and clean. Security measures. Heated pool was great and getting 2 beach chairs was a plus. Convenient to park and beach. Great to be able to walk 10 min to water taxi stop. Great hot cocoa on a couple cool nights. Shonoye was the best at the desk!

Sonesta is a gorgeous hotel located on Fort Lauderdale Beach. The hotel is in a most fabulous location and the rooms are beautiful…. The staff is extremely friendly fun and professional… We absolutely love Evelyn and Aaron. The bartender was also fabulous.
