The hotel

Famous for the continuous white sand beach surrounding the entire island, Sun Siyam Iru Fushi is an idyllic setting for romantic and family trips alike. The 52 acre island allows for space and seclusion when you want it, but there are plenty of bars and restaurants with a great atmosphere and live music, when you’re ready for an upbeat evening. Sunset Horizon Water Villas are great for couples getaways – savour that Maldivan sunset each day from your private outdoor jacuzzi with a sundowner in hand, these are some of the most coveted accommodations on the island. If there’s a group of you, you might want to opt for a Pool Beach Villa, with ample space for outdoor drinks on the beachfront terrace and a dip in the private pool. And not forgetting, all villas come with a multilingual butler service! If you’re feeling active then there’s plenty to keep you on your feet, from water sports to tennis, or for a more relaxing activity then visit the award-winning Spa by Thalgo which offers over 160 treatments, the kids will be well looked after in the kids’ club whilst you get some much needed “me time”. And it’s hard to know where to start when it comes to dining, with a choice of 15 bars and restaurants from casual snacks by the pool to teppanyaki at your table, overwater champagne bar to beachfront fine dining, they have it all. Where is it

Nestled within the Noonu Atoll, a group of unspoilt islands just a 45 minute seaplane journey north of Malé (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person).

Half Board option includes: buffet breakfast at Iru Restaurant, and a 3-course dinner menu at either Trio, Flavours, Islander’s Grill, Taste of India, or Bamboo, or buffet dinner at Iru Restaurant.

Full Board option includes: the same meal options as the Half Board plan, with the addition of lunch at Iru, Reflections or Fluid Bar.

All Inclusive option includes: the same meal options as the Full Board plan, with the addition of 40% discount on food at Islander's grill at lunch and 50% discount on In villa dining (food only) at lunch and dinner. Enjoy selected beverages in all operational bars and restaurants, one snack per person, per day at Waters Edge from 11:00am-5:00pm, daily ice cream at La Cremeria, mini-bar with wine, beers, soft drinks, water, tea/coffee, and 4 coffee capsules, refilled once per day. All Inclusive of the following activities: stand up paddle boarding or kayaking (one hour per day, per villa). One local island experience excursion per person per stay. Guided snorkelling at Nemo Park. Deluxe Beach Villas with Pool are the same size and layout as the Deluxe Beach Villas, with the additional of a private pool stretching out onto the beach, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults and 1 child, or 2 adults and 2 children.

Family Deluxe Beach Villas with Pool are larger in size, with a sliding door separating the bedroom and living area, as well as a private pool stretching out onto the beach, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 adults and 1 child, or 2 adults and 3 children.

Pool Beach Villas feature a curved private pool with daybed and canopy, as well as a separate living area and bedroom with king-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 adults and 1 child, or 2 adults and 3 children.

Water Villas are perched above the lagoon on stilts, with steps leading straight into the ocean, and feature a glass viewing floor, private sun deck, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults and 1 child, or 2 adults and 2 children.

Horizon Water Villas are similar to Water Villas, with the addition of an outdoor jacuzzi on the deck with uninterrupted ocean views, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults and 1 child, or 2 adults and 2 children.

Sunset Horizon Water Villas offers the same layout and features as the Horizon Water Villas, but are positioned for sunset views from the deck.

♡ We had a wonderful stay in Iru Fushi. We were there from 08.12.-15.12.2024. All the people there were very friedly. The food was very good. Oh Sun Siyam Iru Fushi…where do I start? This resort was the most beautiful place we have ever visited as a family. It’s everything you could hope for, white sand beaches, turquoise waters and sunshine. But what really made our trip so special was the amazing staff. Our butler Fayaz went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. He was at our service at any time during the day and he really made the experience personal to us - by the end of our trip, we felt like we were leaving a friend. This goes for all of the other staff too, the service was absolutely fantastic throughout. The food was delicious and it was the best breakfast buffet we have ever experienced in a hotel. The excursions were fun and hosted really well. The villa was pristine and cleaned twice a day so we also came back to fresh towels and a made bed. We opted for a beach villa with a pool and this was perfect for us as our 3 year old would want to jump in first thing in the morning and last thing at night. We highly recommend the beach villa with a pool for families, it was just perfect. Finally, we attended a friends elopement whilst we were there and Sun Siyam Iru Fushi put on the most wonderful ceremony and wedding package for our friends and it was a pleasure to be part of.
