The hotel

The Landings’ signature cocktail sums up this deliciously decadent hotel, ‘Sweet Euphoria’. An all villa-suite resort, it delivers unforgettable moments like kicking off your shoes and sinking your feet into the sand at Callaloo Beach Bar & Grill — just one of its many dining options — or soaking up views of its private marina or Rodney Bay as you stretch out on your suite’s terrace. You can spend days letting the world drift by as you relax in its four pools, two hot tubs, sweeping sandy beach, and luxury spa and fitness club, or you can ramp up the energy levels with the range of water sports on offer. Little guests have not been forgotten either — they can create memories of picnic trips to Pigeon Island, sand sculpting, and fishing by the bay at their kids’ club or splash around in the kid's pool. Just remember, Rodney Bay Village is only 10 minutes’ drive away if you can bear to tear yourself from The Landings’ luxury.

The Landings is amazing! We stayed in one of the villas on the beach and had a spectacular view. Everything was just a few steps away. The beach has some of the best sand on the island as compared to the many beaches where we snorkeled. The beach never felt overcrowded even when it was quite busy. Free lounge chairs and umbrellas. And beach towels were also available at no charge We were welcomed with a refreshing g drink and a wet nicely scented towel as soon as we entered the lounge by when we first arrived. Our villa came with a butler. We certainly do not have any type of daily help at home. When we told the butler that we had to leave for an excursion before breakfast started the next morning, he thought to get some breakfast items and gave them to us the evening before our early morning excursion. And the view of the sunsets is perfect! The butler also brought us some beach towels to take on our snorkeling excursion. And some bread to make some sandwiches for our fishing excursion! The breakfasts had many offerings and some changed from day to day. Most certainly something there for those who want a traditional (American) breakfast but dishes like fish stew were also available. All of the other food we had at the rest of the resort was also delicious. All of the staff were pleasant with each interaction This resort is located near some of the “cities”/ports but 1.5+ hours from the main airport and the Pitons, waterfall, Hotel Chocolat, and mineral baths but it was nice to be near the areas with shops and stores. We got to see and learn about so many things as we rode in a taxi from and to the airport. And around town. The taxi drivers on the island will also go above and beyond. I have not added the cost of all of our taxi rides and corresponding tips. Likely would have been less expensive to rent a car for a week. However, we would have missed out on a great deal of learning about the island, its history, and people if we had rented a car. Plus there are few to no traffic signs or lights/signals. The people honk a good bit for various reasons but only one time was it out of frustration with another driver. So, we enjoyed all aspects of this beautiful resort and enjoyed its convenience to the main towns on the island. Ladera and Jade Mountain are very nice, but I am not sure I would want it to be such an “adventure” getting to things like grocery stores, ATMs, shopping, and any “real” roads. We would love to return to The Landings and I can’t think of anything we would have changed about our stay there! Read less

I will never forget my pal, Albert, from the front desk. I didn't see his name as employee of the month, but he should be as much as he works. I called a week before the visit, and he answered. When I arrived, her was there and when we check out, he was there again. He always had a pleasant demeanor and smile on his face. I will never forget my masseuse, Tadefa. I booked a four treatment, and she was able to work out all the tension in body and offer pleasant conversation. She is a sweetheart! And lastly, I can't forget the butlers, Maverick, Pero, Gorag and Janile! They were all so helpful and went out of their way to make our experience the best. This is just what the doctor ordered! Thank you all for giving me a very memorable trip!!! Much love. Read less

A truly beautiful resort with spacious elegant rooms. The grounds are beautifully maintained. We came 3 years ago and had an amazing experience which I commented on at that time…5 star for sure! This time, quite disappointed. Likely would not return. 1- Check in was a disaster. We reserved a marina view, we were offered a garden view initially. Justinian finally rectified the problem and we got what we had reserved and the contracted VIP upgrade (> 48 hours after check in.) We had never unpacked in anticipation of the correction. Note: on the Hotel website, many rooms at all levels were available for our entire stay. 2- We booked the upgrade from breakfast only to all inclusive (+$175 pp/day). To our great surprise, the beach club and Callaloo restaurants had no included beef options aside from hamburgers. It was mainly seafood, and few chicken options. Jerk chicken (not on the menu) was made available upon request. Available for additional fee: shrimp on salad/ pasta $16; Filet mignon $59; my daughter does not eat seafood, they did agree to include Sirloin steak as a favor. Sadly, this was dry and bland. Overall, what they did offer was generally well presented and tasty. The duration of each meal even for basic (salad/main dish/dessert) was unusually long ( between 1 1/2 to 2 hours). Breakfast buffet was very good but fruit options/ quality were disappointing. 3- I would like to highlight the amazing staff at the restaurants however. Almost all were very professional, friendly, and truly went above to give the guests a wonderful experience: Thank you Kerisa, Monique, Jaclyn, Wilbert, and Sherika. To the beautiful Sharlem, it was so great to see you again. You welcomed us back like old friends. ❤️ 4- New restaurant SURU. Beautiful Asian restaurant with wonderful staff. Thank you Kayla, Kamal, and especially Junior. This was the only restaurant with AC. There was a beef option included here (Coulotte) but strangely it was inconsistent and at least twice the dish was returned. Here, selection of wine so limited- no sweet ones, not even white Zinfandel was included. 5- Excellent transport staff (especially Noe) that readily and pleasantly made it easy to navigate the large resort. 6- Housekeeping was good and toiletries offered were good quality and abundant. 7- Room service. Included (with $10 delivery fee) was easy and efficient. 8- Beach was beautiful and calm. Sand amazing. Non-motorized options were included and were in good condition. Again, staff was amazing.
