The hotel

Looking to do your Miami vacation in style? Look no further. The meticulously designed Miami Beach EDITION offers beachfront luxury combined with the stylish, cool vibes that scream Miami. With a range of rooms available, it's the bungalows that really stick out to us - they offer that bit more room and privacy in the resort, and you can even upgrade to one with a private plunge pool on your terrace if you fancy. Now when it comes to dining, you have to experience the innovative dishes in the Matador Room, designed by Michelin-starred Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. But don't worry, there's plenty of casual options too, and you can even enjoy food and drinks from Tropicale on the comfort of your sun lounger. Now Miami isn't short of bars and entertainment, but if you're sticking close to home, take a trip down to the BASEMENT, where you can bowl, drink and even ice-skate your night away.

I’ve stayed at the Edition Hotel Miami Beach a couple of times, and it continues to impress. The service throughout the property is excellent, and the location is unbeatable, with easy access to the beach just steps away. The food is a highlight—delicious options are available both at the marketplace and the restaurant. Whether it’s a quick bite or a full meal, the quality consistently stands out. The cocktails are fantastic too, adding to the overall experience. While I love spending time on the beach, the service there can be a bit spotty. The servers aren’t always as attentive as I’d expect, which is a small drawback in an otherwise stellar stay. Overall, the Edition Hotel Miami Beach remains a top choice for its luxury, dining, and perfect beachfront location. Read less

The Gold Standard of Family Hotel Travel Our recent stay at The Miami Edition was absolutely fantastic, setting the benchmark for all future family trips. This hotel understands what it means to deliver a luxurious yet family-friendly experience, and it exceeded our expectations at every turn. What We Loved: • Ocean View Room: The view was stunning and added an extra layer of relaxation to our stay. • The Pool: Warm and inviting, it quickly became a favorite spot for the whole family. • Dining: Every restaurant at the hotel was excellent, offering a variety of high-quality options that made mealtime a highlight. • The Beach: Pristine and beautiful, it was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the Florida sun. • Service: The staff were incredibly professional, helpful, and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. • Kids’ Activities: The hotel offers fantastic activities for children, ensuring they were entertained throughout the trip. • Extras: Bowling in the basement and free ice skating were fun and unique experiences we all loved. A Minor Drawback: While I’m a Marriott Platinum member and booked our stay using points, I didn’t feel that Platinum status made much of a difference here. Additionally, since we go to bed early with three kids, we missed the turn-down service most nights. We should have scheduled it, but this was a very minor issue in an otherwise flawless stay. Room was nice. Service at pool and beach was very good. Easy to get good chairs. (Mind you this was in November not a school holiday). Pool area and restaurant are very pretty. We went as a couple but there was some nice stuff for kids too. Nothing really going on there at night though but super close to other locations where there is nightlife. My only complaint was some usability issues in the room. There was a huge heavy sliding door that either covered the closet or the bathroom entrance so when you can enter bathroom, one cannot access the closet. When one is accessing the closet, you can’t enter or leave bathroom. Pretty stupid. In addition the design of the bathroom sink has so little clearance between faucet and bottom of sink, you can’t wash hands without bumping them against sink and you definitely cannot wash (or fill) a small water bottle. Didn’t ruin the experience, just makes you think, did anyone review the design of this room before making lots of them. I feel this way often at hotels. Read less

However when I went back to Matador Room terrace as a guest to celebrate my big 50th b-day and birth of our first granddaughter, we felt like royalty. Manager Ely was so generous, kind and engaging. Bartender Max mixed up delicious cocktail for our special celebration. The whole staff -Paula, Yardy, chef was so kind. And I can't say enough about guacamole & chips 👌 I recommend this Hotel and their famous restaurant " Matador Room " highly 💯 Thank you all, sincerely Vita Ferrell Read less
