The poolside bar, Holua, has excellent pool and ocean views for lunch, and our server Kim was great. The manta rays gather in the ocean just outside here, so it is the perfect spot to watch for them, especially in the evening when the boats bring nighttime snorkelers. The resort does not have immediate access to the water, which is common for the big island, but there are numerous wonderful beaches to drive to, and one can enter the water from the harbor next door as well. The luau was entertaining with lots of food options, including vegetarian choices. There are many excursion experiences nearby, from basic to fancy.
