Absolutely Superb in every way! We are the Family Collins and we arrived on 24th November and loved everything about this wonderful hotel. Our daughters stayed 7 nights and my husband and I stayed 10 nights. Where do we start?! From the moment you arrive at the hotel you are made to feel very special and are welcomed with wonderful smiles and a gorgeous non alcoholic ice cold fruit drink with fresh pineapple, delicious! Everything is explained clearly to you about the hotel and the facilities plus the restaurants. Whilst this is happening your cases have already been taken to your rooms. The rooms are beautiful and the towels and robes, body lotions, shower gels etc are top superior quality and the super king bed is just perfect, it is a heavenly bed make and the sleep was heavenly too! Air conditioning is really top notch and quiet. This hotel is really very special, of course it is absolutely beautiful and the views are sublime, but it is the Staff who make this hotel the success it is. ALL the Staff are a credit to the Marriott name, everyone we met was just amazing, so friendly and could not do enough for us. Of course we got to know some of the staff really well during our stay, but it is important to emphasise that every single member of the team were superb, always smiling and saying hello and asking if we were having a good stay and was there anything they could help us with. Special thanks must also go to the many gardeners and the pool teams who keep the grounds stunning and pool areas impeccable. The food at all the restaurants was fabulous and we went to every restaurant at the hotel. We loved the relaxed atmosphere at seasonal tastes and the choice is fantastic. Kangan was really good and a beautiful restaurant with a relaxed vibe, I had the best vegetarian curry I have ever had! Fusion food is so delicate and beautifully presented. Mystique was our favourite, gorgeous pan Asian food, beautifully presented. For lunch the beach grill was great we went there a few times and Mystique is also open at lunchtimes. We had a gorgeous Mauritian curry at Mystique, it was delicious! We managed to spend 3 days touring the island with our own guide who was Mauritian and so knowledgeable and drove really safely, we visited many different sites of interest and had the perfect day on the water snorkelling in the pristine waters of the east coast and getting soaked on the speedboat! We had a maintenance issue one night where our daughters had to move room, and this was dealt with so swiftly and professionally by Reza, who couldn’t do enough for us in sorting another room, we also were given a bottle of wine as a thank you from the hotel, absolutely brilliant customer care. Mauritius definitely has stolen our hearts and we will be returning to the Westin Turtle Bay in 2026, and look forward to meeting up with the same of the amazing people then. Special thanks to ALL the staff at the Westin Turtle Bay, but especially: Azagen (Food and Drink Director) Nevin (Reception) Yassin (Golf Buggy) Devianee (housekeeping) Rosa (housekeeping) Reza (maintenance) Kavish (Mystique) Vinish (Mystique) Best wishes The Family Collins Room 413 and 415 Tracey, David, Amelia and Jasmine Read less

Our whole experience staying with you at the Westin Turtle Bay was exceptional. I have always believed that it is almost impossible for any hotel to get an Excellent rating. However, this hotel succeeded in delivering an overall level of excellence in all aspects. The layout of the whole site, the buildings and gardens were very pleasant and immaculately kept. So much better than the usual "block of flats" type hotels. The rooms are in "villa type" accommodation spread out across the grounds all along the seafront. There are plenty of individual areas to relax between the two large pools (one being a quiet area). There was never any problem with the availability of comfortable sunbeds and other cabanas and settee-type furniture at any time of the day. A drinks service is available wherever you decide to sit. The room we had was large and well-designed with premium beds, bedding and towels (inc beach).  Housekeeping kept it spotless. Drinking water and minibar provided and a very large flatscreen TV. There are 5 restaurants. 1 for breakfast and dinner, 2 for lunches and dinner and 2 other "a la carte" speciality restaurants. The sheer quality and variety of the food and beverages provided in the restaurants is the best I have ever experienced on All Inclusive anywhere. As in all other aspects in this hotel, I found that this demonstrated their principle desire to provide guests with the ultimate pleasurable holiday experience rather than work just "to a price". The staff were all super, with a friendly Mauritian greeting at every meeting. They gave the impression that everyone, whatever their position, was determined to go that extra mile to make your holiday special. Clearly, we cannot remember everyone's names but special mention must go to Methfoosa, Jessica, Sheral, Venisha, Adryann in the restaurants, Nass on the beach, who seemed to be able to anticipate when we needed a drink, plus managers Mr Seam and Mr Vikas among others. (Apologies if some of these names are spelled wrongly). The main reason for the holiday was to celebrate my 80th birthday. Here the hotel excelled once again.  At a beautifully decorated table at dinner, Ravi, the sommelier, taught me the art of sabering, (opening a champagne bottle with a sword). The hotel provided a delicious birthday cake and a surprise decoration of the bed, thanks to Deviana, when I returned to the room.  The generous offer of the 20% discount for the Spa was also very much appreciated and to cap it all, on the final day, we were honoured to be treated to a personal cooking lesson and to be shown around the gardens by Super Chef Darel and his team. I don't know how many of you wonderful staff were actually involved in making this a truly special and unforgettable occasion but it has to be one of the highlights of my life. Would I recommend this hotel and would I return --- absolutely. Read less

We have just returned to the U.K. after a wonderful 11 days at The Westin .The hotel is in a lovely location right next to the beach . The grounds are immaculate and we enjoyed listening to the birds and admiring the plants on our way to Reception every day. Our room was very spacious with a fantastic bathroom and a lovely big bath…we were well looked after by our room boy. We celebrated my birthday during our stay and were delighted with my swan and roses in the room, and my chocolate birthday cake at The Kanghan… thank you for making my day special. We ate at Mystique, Kanghan, and the buffet several times during our stay …each meal was plentiful and varied. Too many people to thank individually as all of the staff work so hard to make everyone feel welcome. But a special mention to Dushnee at the Front Office and Niv who helped us out on our last day and Daven who ensured that our holiday met our highest expectations. Read less
