My second visit to Timeout and once again had a Great visit, easy check in and friendly staff. My room had a nice balcony facing the main road and I was nice to chill there with people saying hello on the way past!! Opposite Dover beach is a big plus. Definitely will be back

The room smelled icky. However, the staff made an effort to remedy the situation. However, my greatest disappointment was at the restaurant. I went to get something to ear while I waited for my room. I requested takeaway because I intended to have left over as I'm a small eater. After I was served, the room still was not ready, so I started picking out of the bag. I was immidiately kicked out of the restaurant apparently because I ordered takeaway I'm not allow to sit in there and eat. No one bother to ask politely if my room was ready or try to find out why I was eating there after ordering takeaway. They simply said, " miss, you cannot sit here and eat after requesting takeaway. VERY DISTASTEFUL. I'm not going to this place a second time. I learnt my lesson and will stay at a resort. Small business needs to improve. Read less

My wife and I stayed here for 8 nights at the end of November At the time of booking this was the cheapest hotel on the island and we were in the cheapest room Didn't have high expectations On arrival we were upgraded to a pool view room with balcony The rooms are more than adequate, beds are comfortable, plenty of sockets in the room, warm shower, strong Aircon and great WiFi There was a TV, but we never used it There was a fridge in the room, kettle, tea and coffee restocked every day. There wasn't an iron or hairdryer in the room, but my wife asked for one and they provided them We didn't eat in the restaurant, though there is a bakery under the hotel that we used a few times. Next door to the hotel there was a great place Kandybar for breakfast and the odd lunch Could always get a chair at the pool, if going to the beach then staff were happy for us to use their towels The staff were always very friendly and helpful, the rooms were cleaned every day We met lots of people at the hotel that stay there regularly. We would have no problem staying again ourselves Super little hotel, in a great location. Close to the gap, a nice beach across the road. For the money it was excellent value Read less
