I'm not going to give this hotel a 5 rating due to some pricing issues, and if they don't change these silly policies I won't be going back. However, the hotel itself is well priced and there is good value for money in the half board which I booked (full board is silly as you should be touring, not staying in the hotel having lunch). The staff is excellent - they are friendly and helpful and I would give 5 out of 5 there. Where this hotel loses a point is due to some greedy decisions by the ownership. Half board means you don't get any drinks at supper time, which is ridiculous. They even charge you for water which at 130 rupees is crazy, and 230 rupees for a beer which you can buy for 50 rupees from a supermarket. Forget about cocktails priced at 350 to 400 rupees - in addition to crazy high prices, they are bad quality. My constructive criticism is - don't be greedy and charge for water! Offer the same water menu as at breakfast! Do you think guests don't notice this nonsense? Just a comment about taxi prices in Mauritius - this is not the hotel's fault - this is some price fixing all over. Going near to the botanical gardens can cost you from 2000 to 3000 rupees return, and same for Port Louis. Apparently the bus is unreliable so you are stuck with taxis. You can't really negotiate with them much, so prepare for an abnormally high transport budget. Also the hotel free shuttle is only once a day to the nearest beach, so it could have been better with a regular service. Read less

The hotel is amazing, with nice facilities - not too big nor too small. The food was really good and we had a very good variety. The best part was definitely the friendly staff who made our stay fantastic! The views of the sea are also very nice and we will definitely be back
