The complimentary breakfast was great with a lot of varieties. My favorite was the smoothy bar. The staff there could make any types of smoothy I wanted. We also enjoyed water activities, from sea kayaking to sailing. I would give this place 4 stars if we did not have the following two negative experiences. (1) We were incorrectly charged $200 for the free airport shuttle from and to UVF airport. When we explained to the hotel staff and managers that our package included the free airport shuttle, they refused to refund us the $200. (2) We booked a half-day trip for zip lining through the excursion office in the resort, thinking it would be more reliable and offer better services. We were wrong. Our trip was supposed to depart from the resort at 8:30 am. However, no one showed up until 9:00 am. While the excursion office offered us a full refund, we missed the opportunity to enjoy the zip lining. Read less

I feel there is poor hygiene here and as a result it’s spreading like wildfire. Yes it’s everywhere right now, but it’s really bad at this resort in particular. The buffet was still self serve when I was there but I hear they have finally switched it. I think that was a hot spot for sure. Staff were lovely, food was good, resort is picturesque, but I wouldn’t come back. Hygiene at this resort does not meet my standards. Room was not cleaned every day and when it was it didn’t feel clean. Table was sticky, bathroom floors were grimy and floors were sandy. Read less

We paid for all inclusive. It’s not what I call all inclusive. You only can get one meal for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had an excursion booked for 9:30 one morning they changed it to 11:30 because so many cruise ships being in port. We thought we would go get some lunch before we did the excursion due to the change in time. The lunch meal would start at 11:30. So we decided to go through the breakfast buffet again. We were told we couldn’t do that because we had all ready been to the breakfast buffet unless we paid for it. How is that all inclusive? We went to the gift shop and bought snacks to have something to eat before the excursion. We get home after being home two months they add charges on credit card that we had already paid at check out. I will never come back to this resort. Our family of four with two kids < 10yrs old just completed a fabulous one week stay at the Windjammer. It was amazing. Background: Yes, the resort is draped over a series of mountains and hills. Welcome to St. Lucia, it's hilly! I can't speak for timeshare residences but our 1 BR suite was only an 8min walk up and down from the main pool, beach, and nearly all restaurants. It was all stairs, but it was not an exhausting journey. Windjammer does run countless shuttle vans on-demand with short waits if a post dinner walk is not your jam. This is definitely a 4star+ property. Don't expect minimalist room decor with crisp-lines and modernism. Our room was updated (loads of USB wall outlets) and extremely clean. The design and decor was 100% appropriate and in-line with the context and environment of the resort. AC was top notch. Comfy bed and linens. Food. Again, top notch. We did all-inclusive with zero regrets. Fabulous steaks, amazing Indian food at Marsala, etc. Every meal was terrific, and the waitstaff was totally in tune with service. Have kids? They have kids menus if needed. Have allergies? They can readily accomodate gluten-free (me) or others. NOTE: because some guests don't do all-inclusive and the timeshare folks don't have that option (presumably?), all rooms have a full kitchen with supplies. There's also a mini market on site. Menus have prices and they are expensive, again presumably because it's an island in the far south of the Caribbean. If we didn't do all-inclusive, it probably would have been >$800/day with 1 or 2 drinks/pp. Worth it. NOTE 2: all restaurants are on OpenTable should you seek make a reservation in advance. No restaurant seemed to have issues with walk-ins though. Amenities. Pools and beaches are impeccably maintained. It's nuts how clean everything is, from the pool bottoms to the lounge chairs on the beach. Again... top notch! There were whispers of beach chair reservations but they said they weren't doing it during our stay since occupancy was lower. Perhaps it was a stretch of lower occupancy but again no concerns whatsoever on securing any seats after a 930am breakfast. We never stressed and NO ONE seemed to be dropping stuff off before 8am to lock down a bank of chairs. It was very chill and all guests were super friendly. OUR HIGHLIGHT: all watersports are included. This includes motorized! The dock star were the stars of the week. Much love and shoutouts to Mario, Anthony, Jameson, Denver, and the others. They were SO KIND and patient in teaching our kids to water ski (lessons not included but if you say you can ski it is included on their daily runs). Those guys were just amazingly fun and playful with our kids through out the week. True all stars. Would we recommend this resort? 100%. From arrival to departure, we felt service and hospitality from a well trained staff that did seem to want to be there. 5/5, would recommend. Read less

Whilst the resort has lovely views, good facilities and lovely staff. I found the poor hygiene standards the biggest issue with my trip and extremely concerning. Within 48 hours of arriving in St Lucia and at the resort 2 members of our party contracted a vomiting bug which is clearly a big issue at the hotel as multiple other guests experienced the same. I have seen countless reviews over recent months saying the same thing and there has clearly been no attempt to rectify the situation. All tables are wiped down with the same cloth and no spray. The housekeeping visited our room twice during the duration of our stay. Food being prepared without gloves and left out for over 10 minutes in the sun and despite there being a stomach virus outbreak no sign of additional hygiene precautions being taken. I usually have no issues when it comes to cats and dogs in resorts and I usually find them quite sweet. However, here they were sitting on our tables, climbing our chairs when eating, trying to take swipes at us and even going to the toilet near our tables and balconies, one of the dogs was on heat and dripping over our balcony which was also not ideal. For the most part I did enjoy the food on the trip however, if we didn’t have the all inclusive plan I can see that it is massively overpriced. Considering 4 drinks at the beach bar came to $70. The resort has a shuttle system which proved to be effective until the day of our departure where we waited for half an hour for a shuttle to take our bags down the hill to reception which never arrived. I feel as though I would have really loved this resort if I hadn’t been so worried about hygiene the whole time. In a hotel of this standard I should not feel worried to touch everything. I truly feel as though there are better options in St Lucia that cost less and could potentially be more enjoyable! In conclusion, every resort in St Lucia has a good view, I don’t feel as though Windjammer Landing added anything the other resorts couldn’t Read less
