In a city of fabulous excess where big is always beautiful, the 5,000-room MGM Grand takes the XXL biscuit. The world’s second largest hotel features a 6.5-acre Grand Pool Complex containing four swimming pools, three whirlpools, Vegas’ longest lazy river, and waterfalls. The Wet Republic Ultra Pool holds seasonal pool parties too. And that’s just for starters, as the MGM Grand hosts huge sporting events, top shows such as Ka by Cirque du Soleil, Virtual Reality and famous performers such as David Copperfield. On top of that, Hakkasan regularly hosts DJs Steve Aoki and Lil Jon. Peckish after all that? Then take your pick from a mouth-watering range of restaurants that satisfy pretty much any mood and taste you can imagine.

prepare to be ripped off. $22 for a bottle of water (and no listed price of course so you don't know). also not friendly at all. they are just looking to take every penny and give no value. also the waiters at pucks suck, dont know a red from a white and mix everything up while charging crazy prices.

I was awakened by the staff at 6:15 am with no apologies from the staff or the hotel. Otherwise my stay was fine. I'm still trying to figure out why someone would do this. The restaurant was fine and the property was in great shape. Check in was easy

This is one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had in my life, my wife and I were awake at 3 o’clock in the morning after an abundance of scraping and banging. At 7 AM when we called the desk to find out what was going on, a somewhat rude attendant answer the phone telling us that they had authorized 24 hour construction work to be done due to renovations. The rep was not trained at customer service at all when I asked to speak to a manager, which I never do. I was told one would call me at nine, which they never did. After one of the sessions in my conference I went to the front desk and requested a new room the second representative was friendly and apologetic and offered us a new room on the 27th floor where the heat didn’t work every night or we would wake up. The temperature is 60° and under. I will never stay no recommend anyone else staying at this hotel again. PS - This entire facility is architected in such a way that they want you to spend money at every turn, and I knew this going into it, but I had no choice as it was a conference for work. But seriously, how much is a coffee maker in the room cost? And seriously you get charged for using the on-site fridge for personal items? How are you supposed to feel like a celebrity, if basic hotel needs aren’t covered, you know like actually being able to sleep at night? Read less

I was highly dissapointed in my stay at MGM Grand. I haven't stayed on the strip in years and have no desire to go back after this experience. I would've had a much nicer stay at a Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn or something similar for a much better price. The room I was in seemed to have no soundproofing. I could hear the person in the room next to me walk around, shave, even urinating! It was awful. Two nights woke up hearing footsteps, thinking someone had come into my room only to discover it was in the room adjacent to mine. Other nights I awoke to what I'm guessing were construction noises. It sounded like sanding and hammering as well as a LOT of objects being moved around. One morning the noises started around 1:30am and continued on through the night. I also really did not like that you were not allowed to use the mini fridge - warning were every where that if you moved anything, you'd be charged. Obviously the goal here is for hotel profit not for guest/customer comfort and enjoyment. My room also had issues with the AC/Heater - the thermostat was not very sensitive. I had to crank it up to 80 to get the head to turn on or down to 65 to get the AC to kick on. One of the days I returned my room only to find it smelled very musty, like no air had moved all day. I also had one evening of overwhelming cigarette smoke smells. Overall, it was not a pleasant stay and I hope to never return. Read less

The hotel has very nice amenities and the guest room is nice. My only complaint is the mobile app for checking in and out. It's not working for me at all.
