If you're on the quest for a slice of luxury in an historic location within the heart of New Orleans' French Quarter then look no further than the Hyatt which has access to Bourbon Street as well as wonderful views from above. All of the hotel's guest rooms display a modern design, have 12ft ceilings and are very spacious. If you're looking to relax and regroup then your own peaceful pocket is just moments away in the hotel’s indoor atrium or French Quarter style garden courtyard. Another excellent option is the superb swimming pool which comes complete with bar and courtyard setting to help you relax and unwind prior to experiencing a wealth of on-site dining options. Enjoy casual ambience in the market with Powdered Sugar, traditional seafood dishes at the Red Fish Grill and cocktails and snacks at the Batch Bar. Of course, when you have direct access to the Hard Rock Café, burgers and live music can be quite enticing and thanks to the hotel’s gym you can devour whatever you fancy and still leave room for dessert.

The beautifully decorated, connecting rooms with the living room between the two, were exactly what we needed for our family of six which included three generations. The large floor to ceiling windows gave us a great view of Canal street. We will definitely go back!

WARNING: DO NOT BOOK HYATT CENTRIC FRENCH QUARTERS NEW ORLEANS! THEY SCAMMED ME! Hyatt Centric is rude and unreliable! If you book a room, and pay in full, they will cancel it last minute!!! I had booked Hyatt Centric 10 months in advance and paid in full. My dream was to celebrate Mardi Gras in New Orleans, and I wanted to have a balcony room on Bourbon Street. I paid $1,051 for two nights in a balcony room. I flew to New Orleans last Monday and right when I arrived at the airport, I got a missed call and text from the hotel manager Maya Terrance that my room was no longer available due to "unforseen issues". I was absolutely LIVID! I cannot believe that this trip that I had been planning for 10 month and PAID IN FULL was being ruined. I have a feeling that they overbooked the hotel and they probably sold my room to someone else. We had friends that decided to go to New Orleans too for Mardi Gras and I had even referred them to the Hyatt so that we both could have balcony rooms next to each other. Even though they booked 8 months after me, their reservation wasn't cancelled and only mine. They made up a fake excuse that there was an "engineering issue", however when I finally arrived at the hotel, I saw people partying on the balcony in the room I had booked. They're the worst company to be working in the hospitality industry. I will never refer the Hyatt again to people. Make sure to not book at a Hyatt hotel! Read less

Great location, clean hotel. Had a huge room overlooking canal street. Perfect stay and would return. One thing we did notice that the floor tiles around the pool area were very uneven and loose and a hazard. We want to rebook for this year but do not know if this issue has been resolved?

Best place to stay for Mardi Gras The location of Hyatt Centric is literally perfect. Walking distance of the entire French Quarter. Even have provide access to the Hard Rock Cafe. The Holmes restaurant has an amazing ambiance and it’s was perfect after a lively event.
