About as ‘seaside’ as you can get, the Blades family have called this sand-hugging spot home for more than four decades. And they chose a pretty perfect beach for their hotel — which is probably why hundreds of Hawksbill marine turtles call it home too. As you’re here for the beach, the Blades have made sure you’re never far from it, whether you’re lazing on the free loungers, watching moonlight movies on the sands, soaking in the seafront pool, sipping frozen cocktails at the beach bar, or lingering over candlelit suppers at Coco's. The beach itself is lined with beautiful trees to provide natural shelter from the Caribbean rays, so those that don't wish to worship the sun need not worry. It’s not just by the beach though — it’s also steps from South Coast Boardwalk which links you to an array of shops, restaurants and Rockley Beach. The hotel also features an open air restaurant overlooking the white sand beach. Above all else, do not forget to savour a Pirate Punch during one of the several 'happy hours' each day — a traditional Blades family recipe with a twist!

Situated right on the beach in the UNESCO district, adjacent to the South Coast Boardwalk. 10 minute drive from St Lawrence Gap and Bridgetown, and 20 minutes from Oistins Fish Fry. Transfer time from airport: 25 minutes.

Ocean View rooms feature mixed views of the hotel buildings, gardens and ocean. There is a partial kitchenette with a microwave, fridge, toaster and electric kettle, a bathroom with a shower. With either 1 king-size bed or twin beds and a sofa bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.

Cocos Beachside Restaurant (a la carte breakfast, lunch and dinners). Cocos Bar. Jake's Island Grille (steaks and grill items, open from 11am). Captain Charlie's Beach Bar, open daily (weather permitting) serving frozen cocktails, ice cold beer, snacks and lunch on the beach under the trees.

Excellent hotel in ideal position on the beach. Easy to get around Barbados on the buses from outside. Rooms have microwave kettle and toaster ideal for room only basis.

Had a fabulous weeks stay here. The hotel and location are fantastic with a lovely beach, great pool, awesome restaurants and the staff are lovely. They could not be more welcoming and helpful. Loved staying here!

Just returned from a week’s holiday to this lovely family run hotel. We were lucky enough to have experienced this “special” place and beautiful island a few years ago , and we wanted to share this with our adult family …..Barbados and Coconut Court did not disappoint and we had a great time . Hotel is clean and comfortable and the ocean views are amazing. Listening to the frogs sing at night , the sound of the ocean waves breaking on the beach , and the buses friendly tooting only adds to its charm. Food was very good - we did the breakfast only package and never left hungry , this also allowed us to make the most of the many local restaurants available to visit for dinner ( booking essential ) . Special Thanks to Ted, Vaida, Linda, Holly, Christina and Hadfield for making us feel so welcome . You have created special family memories that will last forever. Hope to see you all again sometime……. Julie Emery and family.
