Great location and very friendly staff. It was off season so unfortunately the pool was closed. We enjoyed the view from our room on the 36th floor. Maria from frontdesk was very helpful in advising us for the transfer to the airport. Thank you

We had a room on a "Club" floor but Reception didn't let us know about the benefits this entailed, which included free access to the top floor Lounge with complimentary drinks and snacks and late check out until 6pm which we had rquested as we had a late flight - instead they wanted to charge us half a day room rate. We only found out about Club Floor benefits from hotel's website after we checked in which we felt was unfair. Reception said late checkout was "subject to availability" but rooms obviously were available as we were able to book another room for an extra night on Booking.com for less than the 50% of room rate they wanted us to pay instead of it being a Club room benefit. Rather shortsighted that we used another room for 3 hours which then needed cleaning rather than allowing us to retain our room to 6pm as we should have been able to. So if you have a room on a Club floor make sure you find out what this entitles you to. This marred our otherwise positive experience. Read less

There is a local metro station within a five minute walk so it is easy to travel anywhere although taxis are also very reasonably priced. The staff, especially Maria, are very informative and speak excellent English. The hotel has a lovely club offering free drinks & canapés between 6pm & 8pm each evening, which is worth upgrading for. The restaurant on the 41st floor is fabulous, serving really good food and offering breathtaking views. There is also a viewing deck on the roof. Our bedroom was large and comfortable with a good environmental policy in place. This hotel is a great choice. Read less

We really enjoyed our stay at the harbour grand. Rooms are good sized, we had a fantastic harbour view. Only slight complaint was the £18 for two beers at the hotel bar - that takes the cake for the two most expensive pints I’ve ever had!! However, what made our stay so great was the fantastic Maria at the front desk. After arriving after a very long flight she made us feel so welcome, gave us some excellent tips and advice on where to go and how to get there. We followed her advice and had such a fantastic time we decided to stay an extra night. Maria is such a fantastic asset to the hotel! Thankyou Maria! Read less
