This place should be rated a 2 star. Our room was pretty but not functional and no balcony. The bed was nice but did not correspond to my sleep patterns : said I got up at 3:30 am when I woke up at 6 am. Did not correspond at all with my watch or my daughters Ouro. Why on earth did we have 2 showers,2 toilets and a bathtub, yet no door separating the living area from the bedroom so that if one of us got up early or stayed up late the other could sleep?Food was expensive and middle of the road.Service was extremely slow.It was nice that there were bikes but they were out of service until the day we were leaving.Pools were in the shade most of the day. If you didnt get a beach chair and put your towels and other belongings on it by 9:30am, you did not have a chair. We were unaware of this and got to the pool after our spa services one day at noon and there was a 3 hour waiting list to get a chair!!!! We ended up sitting on a towel on the sand!!! For the money we paid you have got to be kidding me- a total disgrace!!! To get food from the beach hut it was over an hour wait!. Very few wellness classes!!! Mostly gym classes that were full.People hogged the gym machines. They would be using 2 machines and not give up use of one of them. There were no sign ups so we went to a meditation class that had so many people show up that there were not enough mats for every one.It was in the Ocean room by the pool and the whole time you could hear kids screaming and jumping in the pool and adults yelling. Not a great way to meditate. The spa services were typical of any casino hotel in Atlantic City and honestly I have had better facials and massages at Hand and Stone for $59.99 rather than 300+ dollars. A lot of hidden costs in the Best-lifing and for that matter all the services. Somadome was the only one we really liked @ $99 but then with all the added costs it was almost $199.We have been to many Wellness spas that were less expensive or on par, but the classes and services were exceptional. This was ONE BIG DISAPPOINTMENT and should not be considered a top wellness spa. I think there were just as many dogs as people. They do not tell you that there is a hotel and that there are residences that share all the facilities so it was over-run with people. Not at all relaxing. Read less

We just went for a massage but I really liked the spa. I particularly liked the sauna and the cold shower right next to it with the varied color infused scenes. The massage was really nice too. I would recommend the spa highly as it was very relaxing and clean

As someone in my 30s who has always been athletic and highly active, I went to Carillon with a friend who was looking to jumpstart their wellness journey. I honestly got more out of the experience than I ever expected. First, let me say that Carillon’s wellness center truly has something for everyone. Not into working out? No problem! Spend your time on the beach, indulge in the incredible spa, or explore their variety of wellness services. The apartments were stunning, and the food was absolutely top-notch (seriously, don’t skip the meals here!). There’s also a Publix right across the street if you need anything outside of what the resort offers, but trust me, the chefs at Carillon have you covered. For my fellow fitness enthusiasts, Carillon is a game-changer. I never thought I’d find a place like this. If you fully embrace the experience, you’ll leave feeling like a completely new person. My experience was enhanced by planning ahead—mapping out the classes I wanted to take each day and scheduling spa and wellness services around them. If you're unsure where to start, don’t worry. The team is there to help—just ask! I highly recommend the training staff, especially Teri Sibai. I met Teri during a rock climbing class (where she was leading), not realizing she was the Fitness Director. Teri was incredibly approachable and took the time to understand my fitness goals and background. She walked my friend and I through the resort’s offerings, helped us adjust our schedules, and even gave us a tour of the spa, explaining all the sauna features and their benefits. This personalized guidance made a huge difference in ensuring I made the most of my time there. Thanks to her, I had a clear plan and left feeling empowered with real, achievable goals. I also want to give a shout-out to some amazing instructors and staff who made my experience even better:     •    Cesar – His spin class had me cheering the entire time.     •    Maria Paula – A fantastic yoga instructor with great stretching routines that were just what I needed.     •    Taies – High energy and a beast with resistance bands and weight training.     •    Lauren – Front desk at the spa, always smiling and eager to accommodate my needs.     •    Allie – BioStation front desk; a cheerful and personable human. BioStation was fun, but starting it with some one like Allie just brought the experience to a whole new level. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for more from Carillon. Many of my friends have already seen my social media posts and are eagerly awaiting their Carillon experience in 2025 (I’ve already been voted the “planner” for the trip, haha!). This place is a 5-star experience all the way—worth every penny. Carillon truly has it figured out! Read less
