When staying at The Ritz-Carlton, expectations naturally lean toward perfection. While the property delivers in several areas, there are notable shortcomings that detract from the overall experience.
The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and the location is excellent, offering easy access to South Beach attractions. Welcoming staff are attentive and accommodating, ensuring a smooth check-in and holding deliveries promptly. The pool and beachside food options are delightful, and the complimentary bicycles provide a great way to explore the area.
However, the service fell short of Ritz-Carlton’s usual high standards. Issues like unavailable pool staff, a shortage of sunbeds and towels, and inadequate explanations (e.g., “truck is late” at noon) diminish the luxury experience. Additionally, Bonvoy members may find this property less generous in extending the program’s benefits.
Overall, while the stay had its highlights, there’s room for improvement in service consistency to meet the expectations synonymous with the Ritz-Carlton brand.

Such a nice hotel!! Great service, everyone’s so nice. We enjoyed our time here so much. The atmosphere is excellent. Beach service is beyond amazing along with a beautiful pool. Food is good and clean. Also a great walking distance from shops, restaurants, and other hotels.

Took a quick trip to South Beach with my husband to get away from the DC snow storm and Chris and team on the beach went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. Highly recommend for hospitality and luxury. We def will be coming back!

The staff on the beach were incredible and friendly. Very helpful. Federico was amazing each day always checking in with us. The food was always fresh. Order the pina colada on the beach. Cabana service is very vip style. The chairs were comfortable. I would not stay anywhere else.

The beach attendants (Kevin, Ricardo & Caleb) were fantastic & friendly. They took great care of us. We had a toddler and they offered assistance. Although the beach area didn’t open before 945am they still provided chairs and towels when we showed up at 9am
