The experience was terrible.
First, I checked out at 6AM, and the front desk lady assured me that I could still use my card to exit the parking lot. However, it didn't work. My wife got out of the car to swipe the card at the reader, but it also failed, displaying an "invalid card number" message.

First, I checked out at 6AM, and the front desk lady assured me that I could still use my card to exit the parking lot. However, it didn't work. My wife got out of the car to swipe the card at the reader, but it also failed, displaying an "invalid card number" message.
We had to reverse our car back up the steep ramp while other cars were nearby and walk a long distance back to the hotel registration. Another lady, who responded arrogantly and without any surprise or sympathy—perhaps indicating this is a common occurrence?—issued another temporary card at our request, allowing us to finally exit the parking lot.
Later in the day, I received an alert for an additional charge. I called Horseshoe and eventually got the billing department's phone number. After a few calls, I reached an impatient agent who claimed I was charged because the room was marked as unavailable until 1PM. I explained that I had checked out at 6AM at the front desk, but she insisted the note said 1PM and needed to investigate further. I had to contact my credit card company to dispute the charge.

Rooms are old outdated and not kept clean. The only good thing is location is fairly central on strip.

All your basic rooms here are larger than most standard Vegas rooms. I stay here every so often when the comp rooms come into play. The rooms here are not upscale but they are not dated either. They are nice, comfortable & clean plus the location allows prime indoor access to the Paris & is located near the primo intersection where you can walk (short) to 9 of Vegas most desired cssino hotels.
