This was our first trip to Mew York. We were looking for a place near Midtown. The Hyatt House was great. Wonderful view, great room, great breakfast. Hotel was near all the sites we wanted to see or was a short subway ride away. Highly recommend.

Clean and comfortable with extended stay feel to the room. Bed was comfortable and exceptionally quiet for that neighborhood. Received early check-in after 10 hour flight from Europe. Upgraded my room with amazing views on Empire State Bldg. Just a great experience overall. We are in the city frequently and will def be back to this property.

The hotel was lovely and we had a great corner view of the city, but the tv kept coming on all night long making it impossible to sleep. I assumed they would fix the problem and refund my first night stay. They fixed the tv the next day, but would not refund my money. $700 was way too much money to spend on a room in which I was unable to sleep.…

A/C unit was out when temps were below freezing in NYC. 66 temperature in the room through the day and night. Breakfast was good, otherwise very hands-off (but professional) service. Good location and modern facilities. The corner room offer good views of the Empire State Building (I was automatically upgraded in both rooms as an Explorist).
